The first episode starts off with the five professionals, Antoni, Tan, Jonathan, Bobby, and Karamo, preparing to restore a fraternity house and give a changeover to the boys there. On visiting, they see how messy and chaotic the house looks. From dirty dishes to unhygienic bathrooms, the five of them share their honest opinion with the boys.
After a good amount of discussion, each of the professionals starts their work. Bobby first asks the boys to clean up the rooms while he aids in managing the other side. Then Bobby completely takes care of re-decoring the whole house by painting the walls and almost changing everything.

Meanwhile, Tan takes the boys to a clothing shop and starts a dress-up challenge. He asks them to choose clothes that will be appropriate for the fundraising event (fund to save the frat house). The boys give scores for each other’s attire and Tan gives his final remarks. Moving on we have our favourite cook Antoni teaching the young students a simple yet mouth-smacking dish.
After this, Jonathan pitches in and gives all the boys a splendid makeover with his salon professionals. We finally then have Karamo in the house helping the boys to vent out their feelings and bond. As expected the main day comes and the house looks stunning with the young pals looking mature and glorious. Their bond looks as fresh as ever and the fundraising event winds up brilliantly.

This is pretty much what happens in the next six episodes. We have our five professionals getting their nominee’s story, they visit the person, engage in a conversation, check out their homes and talk to those around them. They get a picture of who they are and what they’re missing. Once they figure out and finalise the plans, all five of them take their roles actively to bring a makeover.
Queer Eye is an excellent show which isn’t just limited to home decor or hair styling, it’s a whole package. We have five wonderful queer people who endlessly love and keep the nominee feeling like they’re backed up. They talk to them and try to actively bring the lost spark within them. Amidst this healing journey, the humourous moments keep the show alive.

Speaking of nominees we have different types of people with different stories. We have a bold woman trying to live her life after coming out of prison, we have a disabled young man inspiring people and such. This is also another amazing aspect of the show because the people who are getting the makeover are truly inspirational. Not only do they get a change, but their story and willpower bring warmth to the five professionals as well.
Queer Eye Season 7 Review: Final Thoughts
Honestly, this is a wonderful show that the world needs to see. The selfless love and the amount of dedication to cheer up someone is a great idea to learn from. it’s amazing to see Tan, Antoni, Bobby, Karamo and Jonathan vibrantly boosting the nominees’ spirits. Their friendship and their choice of words really do bring a shift in the mood.

Kudos to the cinematography team and the casting team for choosing the best locations and nominees. The editing team also has to be appreciated because it’s a lot of work to cover every little detail of the person in need whilst not indulging too much in their private space.
