Medusa Ending Explained

In the final episode of the show, we see chaos erupting in the Hidalgo family when Barbara sends Camilo to prison by exposing his paedophilia. While she thinks that everything is slowly settling, she leaves to meet Danger but finds him lying near his door as his mouth foams due to the poison that is in his system. She thinks that he has been attacked because of her but Danger soon clears it and tells her that it is because of his own past enmity that this is happening.

He then meets the police chief and enters the task force set to eliminate these criminals. Finally, he puts an end to this gang and frees himself from his friend’s death. Elsewhere, Barbara meets her husband in prison to sign the divorce papers when he tells her that the person behind her attack was his mistress Tatiana. She had wanted to kill Barbara which is why she hired someone to plant the bomb in her yacht.

Barbara is shocked but accepts it and tells Gabriel and Danger about the same. She is finally relieved from this hidden threat, however, Danger believes that there is more to this than what’s on the surface as Tatiana is also dead.

Does Bárbara Hidalgo Regains Her Memories?

Who Tried to Kill Bárbara Hidalgo?

As Barbara lets go of her fear and heads to enjoy the Carnival with her family, Danger finally cracks the code to Tatiana’s murder and finds the real culprit. Knowing that it is a person near Barbara, he rushes to the carnival but Barbara is already lost. Everyone gets into a panic when they are unable to reach Barbara’s cell phone when Maya tells them to track her phone as Barbara had her phone.

With this, Danger soon makes his way to the location where Barbara is held by none other than Gabriel- the man she had trusted this whole time. He then slowly tried to get rid of the hurdles between them; killing Tatiana and throwing Esteban into the spotlight, and later poisoning Danger to get rid of him. But in the end, seeing Barbara regain most of her memories other than those about him, he was once again disappointed and decided to kidnap her and take her away. Listening to this, Barbara can feel the danger around her and is fearful, until she sees Danger standing at the window.

Tracking Maya’s phone, Danger reaches the location and finds Barbara along with Gabriel. He then shouts at Gabriel and tricks him into coming out with Barbara before slowly taking over the situation and freeing her from his hold. With this, Barbara is saved and Gabriel is sent to prison for the murder of Tatiana and for harming and kidnapping Barbara.

What Happens in the End?

A month after the incident, Barbara launches the new product in the Eternals project and is surrounded by celebrations. However, Danger arrives and tells her the news that Gabriel has hung himself in prison, leaving behind an encrypted message on the wall. Upon decrypting it, the code reads, “If they kill me here it’ll be the Demon Hildago”.

This leaves the two shocked as Barbara’s suspicious eyes once again fall on her family, starting an all-new cycle for the two.
