Continuing the blind relay challenge, after the blue team, the green team consisting of Aruna, Gurkirat and Kamaldeep are called upon to present their dish. They made banana flower balls with stem stew. The judges commented that the presentation was basic and the plating had dull colours. Also, the dish lacked textures which were due to the miscommunication and chaos that was seen in the dish as well.
The red team was next, consisting of Sachin, Nayanjyoti and Priyanka. They made banoffee entremet, which is a British dessert made from bananas, whipped cream and a thick caramel sauce along with hazelnut crumble. The judges found the chocolate leaf to be very big and heavy, while they really liked the flavours and the different textures of the dish.
It was quite evident that the red team had won the challenge since they got the best comments from the judges. They will now be competing for the immunity pin, against each other. Their dish was also named the dish of the day.

The next day, the members of the red team are welcomed by the judges for the Immunity pin challenge. They tell them that there will be several rounds until they find the winner of the pin and the key is to focus. The first round is to make a charcuterie board in 15 minutes. The board consists of elements like meat protein, cheese, crackers, dips, fruits and ingredients for a starter that is given before a meal.
The board will be judged solely on the basis of its presentation, ie how well the home cooks plate it all together. The pantry will remain open the whole time and within 15 minutes they have to get the ingredients and place them, beautifully. Once the time was over, all 3 boards were presented together.
The judges found Sachin’s charcuterie board to be visually appealing with details like ridges on fruits and vegetables. While they found Priyanka’s board a bit complicated with lots of elements. Nayanjyoti’s board was found to be least appealing since he didn’t cut off the stems of the grapes and didn’t assemble them in a presentable manner.
Clearly, Sachin and Priyanka move to the second round – where they have to make a perfect egg ravioli. They share how it’s very difficult to make since every piece of ravioli should have even thickness, be properly cooked, should look presentable and most importantly, the egg should ooze out on cutting.
They were given three tries to make one perfect ravioli and both the contestants immediately started making the pasta sheet. Priyanka was faster than Sachin and made the first ravioli quickly but it was rejected by the judges, the same thing happened to Sachin. On the second try both came up at almost the same time but they were sent back again.
On the third try, Sachin came to the judges first and was followed soon by Priyanka. But his ravioli pasta was uncooked on the top and although Priyanka’s ravioli was uneven, it was cooked from both sides. Thus, she was announced the winner of the second round but it wasn’t the end of the competition. There’s still one more round that will decide if she gets the pin or not.

Final Thoughts: MasterChef India Season 7 Episode 32
In the start, the creators snipped through the episodes quickly, without even showing many contestants and their dishes. But at this point of the show, when there are already fewer contestants, they are literally dragging through. I think today’s episode should have the last round of the immunity pin challenge as well. They could have quickly shown what the contestants did in the first two rounds and moved to the cooking competition between Priyanka and the guest chef.
Showing just two contestants for almost 30 minutes making one ravioli was a waste and not worth it. Also, I can’t figure out the reason for the last contestant to compete with a guest chef for a pin. What if Priyanka doesn’t win? Does that mean nobody will get the pin? Then what will be the point of the last two episodes? Or it’s just a buildup to show how Priyanka is on par with a renowned chef and will get the pin either way?
