While other cooking shows mostly boast chefs or professionals working in the industry, this season of MasterChef India features home cooks.

This episode is titled ‘First Pressure Test,’ the synopsis reads, “The Cooks are asked to face a challenge where the ingredients presented to them are something they have never used before in their cooking. The contestants wonder how will they be able to cook outside their comfort zones.

While contestants were supposed to compete against each other, they decided to help each other and really showcase a true sense of showmanship.
