Marvel Studios Reveal Captain Marvel 2 And Black Panther 2’s New Titles; Eternals Footage Out!

Marvel Studios is known for dropping posters, teasers and trailers without any prior hints. That’s why MCU has a huge fan following all over the world. It’s these big surprises that keeps the fan curious about their every project. After WandaVision and The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, every fan is waiting for any update on the upcoming Phase 4 projects.

Yesterday marked 13 years since MCU commenced with Iron Man starring Robert Downey Jr. Since then, we have enjoyed 24 movies and 2 web shows from Marvel studies. Today, on the Marvel Studios Twitter and Instagram page, they shared 3 minutes 10 seconds videos that had a beautiful montage of every film that has released so far. In the background, the studio has used Marvel Comics creator Stan Lee’s voice, sharing the importance of every superhero.

Halfway into the video, we get to see footages from Black Widow, Shang Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings and Eternals. We have already seen BW and Shang Chi trailers. But this is the first time so much footage related to Eternals is officially shared by the MCU.

In the Eternals footage, we see some exciting scenes featuring Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Gemma Chan and Kumail Nanjiani. I must say, it looks promising. In addition, Marvel Studios has revealed the new titles for Captain Marvel and Black Panther sequels along with the footage.

The Brie Larson-starrer will not be called Captain Marvel 2 anymore. It is now titled The Marvels. Black Panther 2 will be called Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The films will release on November 11, 2021, and July 8, 2022, respectively.

During San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel President Kevin Feige was asked about Phase 4. He had answered, “There always is (a bigger vision]), and it sort of only comes into view for others as it all solidifies. So ask me again at the end of 2021. But I will say, post-Endgame, we were always about the new. We were always about doing what we always tried to do in Phase One, Two and Three, which is do a film of character you already know, Black Widow, in a way that you don’t expect.”
