Maestra Episode 12 Recap
Luna’s obsession and her deeds that brought harm to many are finally revealed as we see how she poisoned Se-eum, cut the brakes of A-jin’s car, killed Bong-ju, and attacked Kim Phil. Se-eum too realises that it was Luna who was behind everything that had happened and finds the poison hidden in her office.
Right then, Sang-do rushes in and tries to make sense of what has happened to the two while Jeong-jae asks him about Luna’s address. Se-eum tells him that she knows where she lives while Sang-do comments that Tae-ho asked the same question earlier. This alerts the two as they realise that Tae-ho is in danger.
Se-eum informs Dong-sik about the same on the way and everyone soon rushes to Tae-ho’s aid. They find the doors locked and upon breaking in, they find an unconscious Tae-ho on the floor which leaves them shocked. Tae-ho is soon rushed to the hospital while news of Luna’s deeds spreads within Hanphil.

Everyone is shocked to find out that Luna is a murderer, meanwhile, Tae-ho is getting better after being treated. Elsewhere, Luna’s sister is being questioned as it was her sister and fiance who are the prime suspects in this case. Following the interrogation, she meets Se-eum in front of her house and talks to her about Luna.
She tells Se-eum that they are adoptive sister and this is not the first time Luna has done something like this. Previously, she took charge of taking care of their adoptive mother when she collapsed due to diabetes. Seeing Luna’s care towards their mother made Luna’s sister completely trust her, however, she accidentally came across the fact that Luna was entering the wrong data in their mother’s journal.
However, her trust in Luna overpowered this suspicion and she never looked into it; not even when their mother died sometime later. While she had always assumed that it was due to diabetes, she now thinks differently. She has also seen Luna’s obsession towards Se-eum and asks her to be careful as Luna wants to do the same thing to Se-eum as she did to their mother.
Listening to these words, Se-eum looks back into her memories of Luna and understands what she needs to do to get Luna out of hiding. She tells her plan to Dong-sik and the next day announces to the orchestra that she will lure Luna out by holding a concert. She will perform next to Luna and it will be the piece that began Luna’s obsession with Se-eum- Handel’s Passacaglia.
She tells them that she will perform this piece alone with Luna to which everyone objects as they are not ready to let her face this danger alone. They are adamant about being with her, additionally, this is also her last concert and there is no way that they are leaving her alone. Thus, Se-eum is left with no choice but to accept their company.
Elsewhere, Dong-sik is surprised by the details found in Luna’s diary and has no choice but to go along with Se-eum’s plan. Meanwhile, Se-eum is surprised when A-jin too decides to take part in the concert and asks her to not put herself in danger. A-jin tells her that this is also her last concert at Hanphil as she will be leaving the country soon after.
The two women finally make peace with each other at this point and say their wishes and goodbyes. On the other hand, Tae-ho finally wakes up and asks about Luna, that is when Jeong-jae gets a call and finds out about Se-eum’s plan. He rushes to her and asks her to not go ahead with this plan but she does not listen to him. She tells him that she knows that he will let her do what she wants as always, leaving Jeong-jae speechless.
News about Se-eum’s concert is broadcast as she throws her bait by announcing that she will be playing the violin alongside Luna for the upcoming concert. Meanwhile, Kim Yeong-jin is caught and tells them about how Luna threatened him to provide her with the poison. Elsewhere, Hyun-seok tells Se-eum that he will be the conductor when she is performing with Luna.
Soon, the day of the concert arrives and the tension in the air is evident. The orchestra make their way to the concert and begins with their first piece which is broadcast live on television. Luna watches the performance while holding a ticket that will take her away from the city. After the performance, Dong-sik tells Se-eum that Luna hasn’t arrived, and it is now time for the performance which is Luna’s dream.
The performance begins and Luna’s choice is clear when she enters the concert hall to join Se-eum on stage. The two give a spectacular performance as they match their pace and bring about harmony like no other. The performance ends and Luna is overwhelmed with emotions which she pours out in front of Se-eum in the latter’s dressing room.

Maestra Episode 12 Ending
The police arrive along with Jeong-jae and Luna understands what is happening, while Se-eum tells her that she will have to pay the price for her crimes. Luna saw this coming, however, she does not fear getting caught as she is prepared to make sure Se-eum remembers her. Luna pulls out a knife from her violin case and walks towards Se-eum which alerts Jeong-jae as he rushes to Se-eum’s side.
However, Luna has other plans as she stabs the knife into her neck. The scene then changes to sometime later when Se-eum prepares to finally fulfil her dream to travel around. She happily says her goodbyes to her father, and friend and meets Kim Phil who has lost his memories, and then Hanphil, after which she tries to meet Luna who is in prison.
Unfortunately, Luna refuses to meet her as she wishes to be remembered as she was in her final performance with Se-eum. Following this, Se-eum makes her way to her mother’s grave where she opens the envelope containing the result of her Remington’s disease. As a smile makes its way onto her face she leaves to find Jeong-jae waiting for her.
As Se-eum subtly agrees to him accompanying her on her trip, Jeong-jae holds her hand and sets forth to walk beside her, always.
