Made in Korea Kdrama: Jung Sung-il Reportedly to Star in Upcoming Historical Drama Alongside Hyun Bin

In a recent update from JTBC Entertainment, it has been reported that actor Jung Sung-il is set to headline the highly anticipated historical Made in Korea kdrama (메이드 인 코리아). The drama, which has been generating considerable excitement, will also feature prominent actors Hyun Bin and Jung Woo-sung. While both the actors have been offered a leading role and are reportedly considering the part, no final confirmation has been made yet.

Jung Sung-il, known for his compelling performances in popular dramas such as The Glory and Bad and Crazy, is a notable addition to the ensemble cast of Made in Korea. His involvement in the project has only heightened the buzz surrounding the drama, which has attracted attention due to its impressive roster of talent.

The drama is said to have an impressive budget of 70 billion won (approximately 50 million USD), reflecting its high production values and the ambition of the project. The significant investment indicates the creators’ commitment to delivering a top-tier historical drama that promises to captivate audiences with its rich storytelling and visual splendour.

Made in Korea will be directed by Woo Bin-ho, a seasoned filmmaker known for his work on notable projects like Inside Me and The Man Standing Next. Woo Bin-ho’s direction is expected to bring depth and authenticity to the drama, enhancing its appeal to both domestic and international audiences.

In addition to his role in Made in Korea, Hyun Bin is also preparing for his upcoming film Harbin, which explores the Korean independence movement during the early 1900s. If Hyun confirms his participation in Made in Korea, it will mark his second collaboration with Woo Bin-ho, following their previous work together.
