Ever since the last episode dropped, fans have been wondering: Will there be Loki Season 3? Loki Season 2 Episode 6 had so much going on, and the makers gave one of the best endings to a Marvel web series so far! The 6-episode series stars Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Owen Wilson as Mobius, Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter B-15, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Ravonna Renslayer, Sophia Di Martino as Sylvie, Jonathan Majors as He Who Remains/Victor Timely, Tara Strong as Miss Minutes (voice actor), Ke Huy Quan as Ouroborus/OB, and others.

The second season brought a satisfying end to Loki’s Glorious Purpose. In the last episode, Loki takes it upon himself to save the branches. He creates a sacred timeline by walking through the temporal loom door and saving everyone. However, taking control of the timeline means he has to keep an eye on it forever.
It can be rightly said that Loki is now the God of Time and not the God of Mischief anymore. He learned to love people, to put others first, to make sacrifices, and to understand the value of others’ lives and time. This is one of the best character arcs written for any MCU character in the last five years. So the main question arises: Will there be Loki Season 3?
Is Loki Season 3 Confirmed?
Considering how Loki found his new purpose and that everyone is safe at the TVA, it looks highly unlikely. Mobius also decides to look back into his life before he became a timekeeper for the TVA. Sylvie will be out looking for her new life. So every character has a hopeful, open ending. There’s very little that can be explored about the TVA-Loki story if there is a third season.

However, if it happens, the makers can focus on Loki’s shenanigans as he looks after the sacred timeline. It would be interesting to see what he does when he witnesses the multiversal threat that has been teased in the MCU for quite some time.
However, the show’s writer, Eric Martin, revealed that he has plans only for two seasons. In an interview with CinemaBland, the director stated that they approached the story as two halves of a book. They have closed the book with season 2 of Loki and the TVA. He doesn’t know where it can go beyond this. His goal was to tell a complete story about the Norse god in these two seasons.
Loki Season 2 Episode 6/Finale End Credits Scenes: Why Was There No Post Credit Scene?
There was no text at the end that mentioned ‘Loki will return’. The absence of an end-credits scene like it was in Avengers: Endgame can also indicate that Loki’s chapter is now complete. However, we will have to wait for the makers to make an official confirmation.
