The upcoming movie stars Veki Velilla as Angela, Álvaro Mel as Sebas, Carlos Alcaide as Rai, Hamza Zaidi as Koldo, Iván Pellicer as Nando, Ane Rot as Sara and María Cerezuela as Eva in lead roles. The cast also includes Priscilla Delgado and Daniel Grao.

Killer Book Club Plot
The film is adapted from Carlos García Miranda’s book of the same name. It revolves around a group of eight teenagers who are threatened by a creepy clown. After learning a rather grim secret they share, a killer clown tries to hunt down members of the group one by one. Who will survive the scary encounter with the clown and how is the mystery that’s left to decipher. The horror-loving, book club teens when faced with an actual moment of terror begin to fall apart and also turn on each other.
The teenagers find themselves in trouble after being complicit in a joke that ends up in a fatal accident. While the group decides to stay hush on the matter, their secret leads them to get threatened by an anonymous writer. The witness then threatens further to post a horror novel based on them on social media while hunting them down.

The Spanish film has been directed by Carlos Alonso-Ojea with a screenplay written by Carlos García Miranda. The horror drama is all set to release on Netflix on August 25, 2023. A trailer of the film has been released by the streaming platform and it showcases the creepy killer clown in scary moments as he gears up to attack the teenagers. From spooky scenes in deserted libraries to dark alleyways, the trailer showcases how the film will consist of several jumpscare moments. The film will have a runtime of an hour and twenty-nine minutes and it is expected to be a spine-chilling ride.
