Recently, Hollywood stars Jennifer Aniston and Sebastian Stan sat down face to face for an interview for Variety’s “Actors on Actors” series, presented by Apple TV+. This is the first time in more than two years that the show has been conducted in person, as the previous seasons were filmed virtually due to COVID-19. The two interviewed each other during “Actors on Actors” about their latest projects like The Morning Show for Jennifer Aniston and the Hulu miniseries Pam & Tommy and of course about the Marvel Cinematic Universe for Sebastian Stan.
They further discussed how surreal it was to film during the pandemic and how to approach playing the role of a real-life person like Tommy Lee. They even shared their mutual love for romantic comedies and even joked about starring together in one. But while talking about their projects, one cannot leave out the ‘Friends’ series while asking Jennifer about her career. Naturally, as part of the mass pop culture consumption, we all have at least once wondered, what Friends’ character we might be? Or maybe even took a BuzzFeed quiz to figure out and Sebastian Stan is not spared from it either.

Jennifer Aniston Tells Sebastian Stan the Friends Character He’d Play
While asking about the recent Friends reunion, Jennifer Aniston mentions that Sebastian would have been a great cast on the show and could have played the role of Joey. On this Sebastian Stan confesses that the famous series was his favourite company on one of those lonely nights and like everyone else he even wondered with his friends what character he would be. On being asked which character he associates with he replied, “I always came closest to Chandler because I get very sort of like neurotic and I used to die laughing”.
