I Am Groot is the upcoming animated series of shorts created by Kirsten Lepore. She has both, written and directed the mini-series. Along with executive producers Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Kirsten Lepore and James Gunn. The events of the series are set between Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) and one of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2‘s (2017) mid-credits scenes.
Produced by Marvel Studios, it will specifically follow the growing years of Baby Groot from seedling to Guardian. While he interacts with various other alien species, as seen in the trailer. Even since the introduction of the character, viewers became fans of the character with few words.
I am Groot Cast
The voicing cast includes the reprisal of Vin Diesel as Baby Groot, who voices Groot in the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise and Bradley Cooper as Rocket (the unlikely parent). Also, James Gunn might make a voice cameo as Wrist Watch as well.

I am Groot Plot/Synopsis
The official synopsis of the series reads, “There’s no guarding the galaxy from this mischievous toddler! So get ready as Baby Groot takes centre stage in his very own collection of shorts, exploring his glory days growing up—and getting into trouble—among the stars.”
In the series, there will be five original shorts featuring several new and unusual characters. Each short follows Baby Groot as he grows up in the galaxy, going on adventures with new and unusual characters that get him into trouble. Considering the limited vocabulary of the character, there won’t be many dialogues in the series.
