Lightyear

Toy Story’s Buzz Lightyear is one character everyone has learned to love over the years and, now it is probably one of the most adorable characters in the franchise. Chris Evans who lends his voice to the titular character is super excited for the release of this project and, so are we! Directed by Angus MacLane, the film is going to come to theatres on June 17, 2022, and will cover the origin story of Buzz and his subsequent adventures.

The Gray Man

The star cast of The Gray Man is surely an exciting one with Ryan Gosling, Ana de Armas, Jessica Henwick, Regé-Jean Page, Wagner Moura, Julia Butters, Dhanush, Alfre Woodard, and Billy Bob Thornton alongside Evans, this movie is going to be one helluva ride to be on. In fact, Gosling and Evans are going to have an incredible face-off in this upcoming release and we are all in for it. The film will arrive on Netflix on July 15, 2022.

Red One

An action adventure with The Rock and Captain America? Count us in! Directed by Jake Kasdan, the project is being written by Chris Morgan based on a story by Hiram Garcia. The plot and the release date are kept tightly under wraps but, we can already assume that it is going to be a thrilling entertainer.

Ghosted

Ever since watching Evans and Armas together in Knives Out, audiences have been rooting for the duo to come together for a project. Although we are going to see the two share the screen in The Gray Man, it is the upcoming Apple TV+ film Ghosted that has everyone’s hopes high as the two will star opposite one another. Directed by Dexter Fletcher from a screenplay by Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, the film is produced by Skydance Media. Although there isn’t a release date yet, the film wrapped up shooting on May 12, 2022.

Untitled Gene Kelly Project

Evans is expanding his boundaries as he is set to play the legendary Gene Kelly in a project that has not been titled yet. Reports state that the project is based on Evans’ original idea and will also be produced by him along with John Logan- who is assigned to write the script for the upcoming release. With the project still coming to the board, the plot, release date and everything are yet unannounced. But, it will surely be fun to see Evans put on his musical shoes.
