Franklin Review

The plot of the series follows a single father who is a counterfeit artist, and he is also in debt. So when life leaves him no choice but to go back to printing bills, he takes up the deal. This leads him to reuniting with his ex-love, and soon being pushed into printing more bills. To make matters worse, he has a brother he never knew about, and this brother is hell-bent on cracking down on this counterfeit gang. With his daughter’s life on the line, he doesn’t stop at anything to do what he thinks is right.

The series brings an intriguing plot, but with way too many plot ideas that we have already seen. Be it in a classic film from the 1900s or some cheesy romance today, we have seen it all. The only difference is that all these themes are coming together in one series, and giving you a hard time every once in a while. This series is not everyone’s cup of tea; some may find it intriguing, while others would find it boring.

If you really want to know what happened in the series, run through the episodes. Speed it up, and you will be good to go, because just one look at the ongoing scene will give you an idea of what is happening in the scene.

Franklin Ending Explained

In the final episode of the series. Yulia and Adam are caught in another mess that threatens to separate them once again. Yulia does what she can to save Adam, and after a hurried confession of what she left him years ago, she is dragged away by her father. Later, he tells her that she needs to leave again, but just as she was rejecting this idea, she saw a wound on one of the men’s hands. She leads her into finding out that it was her father who had Adam’s father killed.

Meanwhile, Zein arrives at the scene and tries to take Adam to the hospital, only to be met by his strong resistance. They don’t go to the hospital but have Adam fixed up before he takes Zein hostage to leave the place. Adam tells Zein that he has his wife and children under his control, and the only way to free them is to give approval for his daughter’s surgery. Left with no choice, Zein does as said before, rushing to find Yulia.

He then gets Yulia under his control to threaten Adam, and ends up killing her father. Meanwhile, Adam reaches the hospital with Zein’s family, arriving with his men. Upon arriving in the hospital himself, he pulls out his gun and creates a hijack situation. He then negotiates with Zein to save his daughter, or else he will end his son’s life, making Zein go mad as he rushes to do as told.

The situation gets worse as the clock ticks away, and Zein brings Yulia. However, soon, there is no news of his daughter, and the time is over. Just when he is about to take away the little boy’s life, Zein’s aunt arrives and tells Adam that Zein is his brother and the boy in his hands is his nephew. This makes Adam pause and distract, and someone takes this chance to shoot at him.

The final scene shows him closing his eyes while seeing his daughter in front of him. The scene then changes to Yulia packing her things, hiding the counterfeit money, before leaving with Adam’s daughter. Meanwhile, Zein arrives to meet Adam in prison when he sees half of a bill painted on the wall. This leaves us with an open ending, hinting that the story isn’t over yet.

  1. The tension in the last episode was superb, but there were too many dead bodies along the way. Every entanglement seemed to have the characters pull out a gun. The final scene was a good twist.
