Do Revenge Teaser: Maya Hawke and Camila Mendes Are Out For Vengeance

Do Revenge is an upcoming teen dark comedy film releasing on Netflix in the coming months. It is directed by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson and the screenplay is co-written with Celeste Ballard. Ever since the production of the film was announced with its stellar star cast, it became one of the anticipated movies of this year.

The cast of the film includes Camila Mendes as Drea, Maya Hawke as Eleanor, Austin Abrams as Drea’s ex-boyfriend Max, Alisha Boe as Dara, Jonathan Daviss as Max’s friend Elliot, Rish Shah, Ava Capri, Maia Reficco, Paris Berelc, and Talia Ryder. Alongside a cameo appearance from Sophie Turner.

The synopsis of the film read, “A dethroned queen bee at a posh private high school strikes a secret deal with an unassuming new student to exact revenge on each other’s enemies.” Drea is at the peak of her high school powers as the Alpha it-girl on campus when her entire life goes up in flames after her sex tape gets leaked to the whole school, seemingly by her boyfriend and king of the school, Max.

Eleanor is an awkward new transfer student who is angered to find out that she now has to go to school with her old bully, Carissa who started a nasty rumour about her in summer camp when they were 13. After a clandestine run-in at tennis camp, Drea and Eleanor form an unlikely and secret friendship to get revenge on each other’s tormentors.

The film will have a runtime of about 1 hour and 58 minutes. The teaser gives us glimpses of its cast members and forms the base and start of an unlikely friendship between our two main leads. They surely are gonna go through a lot before they devise their plan to take every one of their enemies down.
