Divorce Attorney Shin Episode 8 brings people from Shin Sung-han’s past to his office steps & makes him reconsider his sister’s death. While Hyeong-geun braces himself to bid farewell to his married life, he has been holding onto it.
The cast of the series includes Cho Seung-woo as Shin Sung-han, Han Hye-jin as Lee Seo-jin, Kim Sung-kyun as Jang Hyeong-geun, Jung Moon-sung as Jo Jeong-sik, Kang Mal-geum as Kim So-yeon, Jeon Bae-soo as Park Yu-seok, Han Eun-seong as Choi June, Cha Hwa-yeon as Ma Geum-hee, and Noh Susanna as Jin Young-joo among others.

Episode 8 begins with Sung-han giving a radio interview where he talks about the change in his profession and a little about the Ma Chun-seok case that he has been handling recently. As he continues the interview, some people are annoyed while others comment on how well he is doing as we go into a flashback letting us know why it all came to this.

After having the case blow up on the internet, it was finally decided to have Chun-seok’s side also be represented out there and this was the way found by the team. However, it doesn’t seem to be going as well as expected because public opinion is stronger on the other side.
Meanwhile, Yeong-joo tries to poach Choi Joon into working for her and revealing what Sung-han has prepared for the upcoming trial. Later, Choi Joon talks about this with Sung-han and Hyung-geun and shows off his loyalty towards them while talking about Yeong-joo’s desperation.

Elsewhere, Seo-jin goes to the radio station and reminisces about her time there while Jung-shik prepares to leave with Hyung-geum to go investigate Chun-seok’s hometown. On the other hand, Yoo-seok is already talking with Chun-seok’s wife and asking about what happened between the two.
Similarly, Sung-han is also asking Chun-seok his point of view about the events that took place before he was sent to jail for abusing his wife. Later, Sung-han ponders over the reason why Chun-seok’s wife wants to leave for Vietnam.

Meanwhile, Geum-hee talks about her grandson with Hee-seop after which she tells him to send her grandson to her hotel during the upcoming weekend. Elsewhere, Hyung-geun and Jung-shik go around Chun-seok’s hometown and ask people about the couple after which the former goes to meet the woman in question.
However, while waiting for Hyung-geun outside the building, Jung-shik sees Yoo-seok leave and is surprised by his presence there while recalling the past when he asked for his help regarding Ju-hwa’s case.

On the other hand, Seo-jin discusses the case of her schizophrenic client with Sung-han and Choi Joon. Later that evening, Hyung-geun and Jung-shik return and the two share their findings with Sung-han while the latter continues to ponder over seeing Yoo-seok.
The next day, Geum-hee brings her grandson to his uncle which pleasantly surprises Sung-han as he gets to spend the day with his nephew. However, the happiness doesn’t stay for long as Yeong-joo arrives to take him away on the basis that Sung-han has no relationship with him on paper.

Sung-han tries to calm himself down after the two leave and leaves to meet Chun-seok. The two then talk and Sung-han tells him that the only way for him to regain his honour is by revealing the affair that his wife had which resulted in the child who is his son on paper.
The day of the trial soon arrives and Sung-han puts forth a request for a paternity test to be done on the child which makes the woman panic while Yoo-seok seems distressed.

The episode has made it clear that Yeong-joo is definitely testing Sung-han’s patience at this point and it seems like it won’t be too long until a counterattack comes her way. Once again, the show brings another mix of seriousness along with comic relief that is well-balanced throughout the episode.
As for the case that is being fought, it doesn’t seem too long until it comes to an end because Sung-han is slowly getting closer to finishing up with another victory.
