The Gujarati film Chhello Show directed by Pan Nalin has been finalized as the official Indian entry for the 95th Academy Awards 2023. It first premiered in June at the Tribeca Film Festival and stars Bhavin Rabari, Bhavesh Shrimali, Paresh Mehta, Richa Meena, and more.
Chhello Show translated as ‘Last Film Show’ in English, will be hitting Indian theatres next month. The storyline for the same is loosely based on the director’s passionate awakening to cinema as a young child in rural Gujarat. Produced by Roy Kapur Films in collaboration with Jugaad Motion Pictures, Monsoon Films, and Marc Duale, the movie is bound to enamor the Indian audience soon.

The Film Federation of India’s General Secretary Supran Sen has already announced Chhello Show as “India’s official entry for Oscars 2023” and the reactions for the same are already underway on Twitter.
