In Indian cinema, the horror-comedy genre seems to be working well and coming from the same director, Amar Kaushik which is his third directorial venture with Jio Studios and Maddock Films following the success of Stree and Bala. The film is also a social commentary on deforestation and reckless development projects in reserve forests and green areas, which was a notable point for the audience.
