The results come out, and both of them have done well in their exams. They both regularly hang out, Tae-seo sneaks into Eun-a’s home often, and they spend quality time together. Tae-seo applies for college first and following that after a month, Eun-a does it. Tae-seo gets accepted into Hankuk National University, bringing so much pride to his family.

As the couple now know they’re entering adulthood, they wonder how they can work things out, and they plan regarding their dates and other relationship rules. Tae-seo says he’ll have to move to Seoul soon, as a unit is free for him to stay. On the day of his departure, Eun-a accompanies him. In Seoul, she gets a text regarding her college admission, and she gets in.

College life kickstarts for the two, and they manage studies and their relationship. They meet friends yet set priorities for each other. During their college break, Eun-a returns to town, where she kind of gets messed up hearing about her dad’s wedding to So-hyun. Eun-a addresses So-hyun rudely, asking how she could marry her father when she was two-timing him. So-hyun tells that Sun-gyu is aware of it and they’ve cleared the air about it.

Eun-a still couldn’t accept it, but when their frequent guest Seong-chan makes some sense to her, she gives a bouquet to So-hyun and congratulates her and her dad, all for the sake of her dad’s mental health. This news puts a heavy toll on her because already her college bestie Na-ri hasn’t turned up to college for days, and now So-hyun and her dad’s wedding news confuses her.

She immediately reaches out to Tae-seo, and he rushes to meet her. Eun-a waits for Tae-seo’s train at the station, feeling a sense of peace wash over her.

Still Shining Episode 2 Review

Seeing Seong-chan, it’s evident he’s going to develop feelings for Eun-a. Now that Tae-seo and Eun-a have gone to college, new people will definitely enter and interrupt their relationship. Given that the first two episodes feel so good, something tells me this might end with a sad ending, which I absolutely don’t want.

Hopefully, Eun-a and Tae-seo become the endgame, irrespective of who comes and goes, because their chemistry is exploding. Seong-chan and the other female character, who is still en route, can stay wherever they are! We don’t want a sad ending, please. Anyway, speaking of the series, so far so good.

Still Shining is streaming on Netflix.
