No Tail To Tell Episode 8 Recap

No Tail To Tell Episode 8 Review: Kim Hye-yoon

In this episode, Eun-ho comes gung-ho as she refuses to shy away from admitting her feelings to Si-yeol. She bombards him with claims like she has avoided dating because she didn’t want to suddenly want to become a human. Now that she has already become a human, there is nothing stopping her from dating someone, and as Si-yeol is pretty handsome, he will do. So she outright asks him out, and Si-yeol tells her nothing, as he was too stunned to say anything.

But from then on, Eun-ho relentlessly tries to make moves on him without stopping at all. She even starts to do lovey-dovey things with him, almost forcing him into a one-sided relationship. This obviously confuses Si-yeol, who tries not to think about Eun-ho’s sudden change much. But they do not just focus on their love, as they also investigate the guy who became extremely agitated after meeting with Eun-ho. They get to know that the old man has died, and while talking to his son, they find out Eun-ho was the one who made them poor in the first place.

After finding this out, she tries to help the son with some money, and this results in Geum-ho gaining some spiritual power. From this, Eun-ho gets the idea to revisit the man who was her client. With the help of Geum-ho, she manages to manipulate the frail man into thinking that she is still very much powerful and makes him donate a building to Eun-ho’s victim. Here, on the other hand, Si-yeol finally returns to play football and makes a miraculous play, creating a comeback opportunity for his team.

At the end, the match ended in a draw. Si-yeol could not win, and he became extremely angry about that. Here, he also gets to know how badly he gets paid for staying in a losing team. But all of this is supposed to change in the future because now he’s finally becoming more serious about football. But that is not all, the relationship between Si-yeol and Eun-ho also becomes better exponentially. They decide to go on a date, and it ends on a sweet note.

Towards the end of this episode, we also see Woo-seok becoming a pawn to Yoon and Pagun. When they hurt his father, he lets them know how Eun-ho is just a normal woman now and does not have any powers. Thankfully, things do not finish in something sinister, as both Si-yeol and Eun-ho finally kiss.

I like this episode a lot more than the previous episodes, because the romance does not take much time to develop. As Eun-ho is very upfront with everything, she’s also very direct with her feelings. She does act coy when it comes to accepting her heart, or wastes more than one episode on deciding whether she likes Si-yeol or not. I’m really hopeful for the future episodes.
