Head Over Heels Episode 7 Recap
The episode picks up from last week, when Seong-ah discovers that Gyeon-woo might be possessed! Although Gyeon-woo seemingly tries to help Seong-ah at first, pairing up with Ji-ho, the revelation leaves everyone shocked. Meanwhile, General Dongcheon and Flower Master make their way to the building as well, as we see that Yeom Hwa’s last offering to the demon inside the building was none other than Gyeon-woo.
Unfortunately, now Seong-ah’s main concern is saving Gyeon-woo from the demonic entity. Thankfully, Seong-ah’s talismans work their charm and keep him from making a terrible mistake or losing himself completely. In the end, though, the entity makes a bet with Seong-ah – whoever between her and Yeom Hwa finds him first will get their wish fulfilled. Without a second thought, Seong-ah agrees.

In a bid to find Gyeon-woo, General Dongcheon stumbles upon Yeom Hwa, and the two have a tiff. In the end, Yeom Hwa falls into her arms unconscious. Elsewhere, Seong-ah asks Ji-ho not to search for Gyeon-woo and instead to go straight home, but, of course, he stumbles upon Gyeon-woo on the street, getting into some shenanigans. Thankfully, Seong-ah finds him quickly and asks him to let Gyeon-woo go, telling him how hard this young man’s life has been thus far. Funnily enough, Seong-ah figure out that every time she holds Gyeon-woo’s hand, he turns into himself!
She brings him home in that state, and General Dongcheon and Flower Master try to help him with his predicament. The shamans try their hardest to get rid of the demon, eventually deciding on letting the two kids spend the night together in a special room to save him. Elsewhere, Yeom Hwa opens up about her story to General Dongcheon and the others.

After a tense night, Seong-ah awakens to find Gyeon-woo missing as the entity makes his way to the school and runs into Coach Ju-seop. As he tries his hand at archery, Seong-ah follows Bok-i to the school, but by then, he’s long gone. At home, General Dongcheon tries to get rid of the curse on Yeom Hwa, and her aunt warns her to keep her hand on Gyeon-woo because otherwise the ritual might fail. Of course, in the exact next moment, Ji-ho rushes at the two of them, resulting in their hands getting separated.
With no one to stop him, Gyeon-woo takes to the wind and ends up with the archery coach again. Somehow, he ends up putting his name in for an upcoming competition, leaving Seong-ah completely confused. Gyeon-woo later tells her that he made a deal with the devil – he will lend him his body if he signs up for the competition, confident that nothing will happen to him as Seong-ah is there to protect him.
Afterwards, he confesses his feelings to her, promising to protect her from here on.
Head Over Heels Episode 7 Review

Head Over Heels episode 7 is a bit confusing – it’s too goofy and unrealistic for things to really feel juicy and for the first time for this drama, I found myself a bit bored. I think it’s because it goes a bit too far and considering we were shown that this demon is the baddest of them all, I guess I was wondering how it became besties with the weakest man out there. It’s a little confusing and stupid, maybe a bit too much this time around, and felt too far out of left field. Either way, there’s going to be relationship progression in the next episode and I can’t wait to see where that goes!
