Run Jin Episode 33 Review: It’s Action Time!

Run Jin Episode 33 brings to us actor Seokjin as he is taken to complete a mission that is way beyond his expectations. The show’s team doesn’t disappoint as they steal him away for the surprise, only to be surprised themselves by the talented man that he is. This episode shows the idol’s charm like no other as the Hamster goes on to become the action hero we didn’t see coming!

Run Jin started on August 13th, 2024, after BTS Jin was discharged from the military and took over the group’s popular show Run BTS. With the other members still in the military, Jin took over and showed himself engaging in various activities, adventures, and more, often with guests like TXT’s Yeonjun, Lee Yi-kyung, Jonathan Yiombi, and more! With a new episode released every Tuesday, he has been entertaining fans around the world as we await the return of all our beloved BTS members this year!

This episode of Run Jin is certainly out of our expectations. Starting with how the production team kidnaps Jin when he is leaving for the filming location, we can see the playful relationship they have with the idol. The pranks never end, and this time, they kidnap their beloved Hamster, blindfold him, and then take him to the set. Waiting on the set is none other than the Martial Arts Director Jung Doo-hong, who is now ready to make an action hero out of our beloved princess.

After a little show of what is going to happen in this episode, Jin is told that he can clock out only after learning everything. Director Doo-hong jokes that Jin won’t be able to leave for a month in that case, which scares Seokjin, but the two soon laugh it off and begin the real deal. Director Doo-hong then takes Jin through the types of action sequences- traditional and modern. He even has his students show Seokjin the sequence before having him try it out.

Jin follows seriously, and while he starts off soft, he soon turns into a mesmerizing, sharp-eyed action hero that we have been looking for. It is now Jin Wick who takes up the show as he aces the different style through the Director’s guidance. Soon, it is time for Jin to play out the real scene, which is to become his clock-out mission.

After being stunned by the long scene that he has to perform, Jin then takes it slow and learns every bit of it right until the end. Following this, he screams a confident “Go!” before jumping down to deliver his performance. Jin’s action hero charm literally takes over the screen as he performs every move with ease, which also impresses the Director and the rest of his team. Soon, Jin stunningly finishes his performance and relaxes with joy when he sees the final message that allows him to go back home.

Altogether, the episode showed us yet another side of Kim Seokjin, which also connects to his past as a Konkuk University student with a major in Film Studies. The idol surely has many more talents than we have seen on screen until now, and this is just one of them. He has once again won our hearts with this episode and has left fans excited for what is to come in the next episode!
