Jewel Thief: The Heist Begins Ending Explained
The film starts with the viewers getting to know about Rehan and his sneaky abilities as he quietly steals things and disappears in the blink of an eye. However, one day he finds himself being followed, but quickly realises that it’s his brother. He talks to him and learns that their father, who had thrown Rehan out for stealing things, has found himself in a scam after mafia boss Rajan Aulakh buried them in a bad investment. He implores him to help their father out, who will not be able to take the disrespect if this ever comes out.
Elsewhere, we see that Rajan has done all this on purpose, in order to lure Rehan out of hiding so that he can steal the Red Sun. Rehan and Rajan meet, and the latter threatens him to do his bidding or else. With no other choice, he agrees to do so and, at first, decides to steal from the art gallery that is holding an exhibition in its honour. Rehan teams up with a trusted colleague as well, who will help him in this massive undertaking.

After planning for days and finding himself attracted to Rajan’s wife, Farah, in the midst, Rehan executes his plan, and although it goes smoothly at first, things go awry later. It turns out that Detective Vikram Patel has been on his tail from the very beginning and has been following his every move since he landed in Mumbai. His plan was to catch him red-handed. Unfortunately, that doesn’t work out, and Rehan and Vikram have a fist fight, which Rehan eventually gets out of.
Now, with no other option, Rehan comes up with a daring new plan. He realises that the owner of the diamond is flying a commercial plane and decides to get on it with Rajan and Farah to steal the diamond from the vault. On the plane, Rehan is able to steal the diamond after a few hiccups and forces the plane to land in Istanbul, from where they make a hasty exit just as Vikram reaches the scene.

Back at Rajan’s house, however, is where the plot thickens further. It turns out that Rehan knew about Rajan’s plan to get rid of him once he had his hands on the diamond, and thus, he came up with a plan that would leave Rajan vulnerable and without any options. He tells him that the diamond that he had sold to Moosa was actually a counterfeit that he had exchanged before the heist had even started. Rehan elaborates that he did all this because he threatened his family, and he will not let them get away with it.
With Moosa now on the way to end his life, Rajan and Rehan fight with each other, and afterwards, the latter leaves him tied to a pole so that Moosa can take care of him. However, he does cut the gas lines to give him a choice. In the Jewel Thief finale, Rajan realises that he doesn’t have an option and lights the place on fire to kill them all.

Elsewhere, Rehan and Farah have a romantic time when he proposes that they get a small house together. However, Farah knows that he’s already planning his next heist and isn’t someone who can be tied down. But it seems like she doesn’t have a problem with it, and they share a laugh together.
