Run Jin Episode 19 Review: Seokjin, Workout Zzang Beomgyu, and Their Core Strength

Run Jin Episode 19 is out with TXT Beomgyu as the guest and this duo cannot be more chaotic. To add on, the episode had them do some gymnastics with their guest and coach Yang Hak-seon who takes them through the routine they need to follow before they get to go home. Adding on, the episode showers Jin with loads of love through chocolates, letters, and more.

Run Jin started on August 13th, 2024, after BTS Jin was discharged from the military and took over the group’s popular show Run BTS. With the other members still in the military, Jin took over and showed him engaging in various activities, adventures, and more, often with guests like TXT’s Yeonjun, Lee Yi-kyung, Jonathan Yiombi, and more! With a new episode released every Tuesday, he has been entertaining fans around the world as we await the return of all our beloved BTS members this year!

Coming back to the show, this week’s episode is titled Gymnastics Day, which means that we were sure to get another look at Jin’s superb core strength and power. While the producers of the show tell Jin that this episode has been inspired by the one he did with Jonathan which is why they are ready to put him back to some more working out. With this, they bring out the guests for the week, starting with TXT’s Beomgyu and following him is Yang Hak-seon.

Soon after, the coach begins taking the two through moves they can pull off while also teaching it to them step by step. While the handstands and body rolls don’t come too easily (especially for Beomgyu), they continue on to hanging and rolling their bodies on the rod. Soon, Beomgyu realises that Jin is not to be underestimated because he really knows his stuff and definitely has quite a good core strength.

As the two soon move to the trampoline and rings, they complete their training and move on to the competition part of the episode. The first round is pulling yourself while hanging on the rings and eating the snacks that are hanging there. While Jin easily wins this round, Beomgyu is surprised once again. Next, the two get on the trampoline with a basket on their back filled with balls. With the least number of balls escaping the basket, they need to complete some moves on the trampoline and this is when Jin does what he does best.

Sneaking in a couple of balls into his basket after his routine, he manages to keep one ball in his basket while Beomgyu loses all the balls. Jin wins this round but with the editors not satisfied with the cheating Jin, they move on to the final round which is sort of a relay. Here, Beomgyu tries his best once again, but with Jin’s superior moves and better strength, he wins once again and is allowed to leave early.

While Jin relishes this moment, the producers tell him that he needs to go pick up some chocolate for himself, Beomgyu and Yang Han-seok which now feels more like a punishment to Jin. Meanwhile, Beomgyu has to write a letter to Jin before he gets to leave. Soon after, the episode comes to an end and Jin gets chocolates for them while relishing some in the store, while Beomgyu leaves him a heartfelt letter hoping to come back soon to the show.

The episode showed a beautiful, childlike bond between Jin and Beomgyu which in itself is hilarious and entertaining to watch. The two visuals of their respective groups really know how to get along well and bring out the best of entertainment. As the compliments keep rolling from both sides, this has to be one of the most entertaining duos to watch on the show which only makes it better.

Especially with Beomgyu being almost the same as Jin on his show and letting him take a taste of his own medicine on several occasions, which only makes it all the better. Meanwhile, the editors of Run Jin really deserve all the praise in the world as they not only highlight some of the best scenes in the show but their comments are the most looked forward to without a doubt. Altogether, they have all delivered another wonderful episode to the show and we cannot wait for next week when more guests are ready to show up!
