The show brought forth an intriguing and thrilling experience for viewers and the perfect adaptation for Webtoon lovers. With a perfect cast and beautifully shot scenes, this show was truly a well-done adaptation this year.

The Trauma Code Heroes on Call (중증외상센터) follows a genius trauma surgeon who has performed surgeries in conflict zones and is confident in his abilities. Now, he forms a team that he takes out to the field to save lives. Through serious situations that require quick thinking, this is a team that needs to turn the odds in their favour irrespective of the atmosphere that surrounds them. Directed by Lee Do-yoon, the drama stars Ju Ji-hoon, Choo Young-woo Yoon Gyung-ho, Ha Young, Jeong Jae-kwang, Kim Eui-sung and other cast members.

Coming back to the show, we have to say that while the whole show was marvellously done, there have been some scenes in particular that have managed to stand out. So while we wait for news on another season (because we surely need one more season!) here’s a list of moments that we found to be the best in the show! From the Hospital Playlist cameo to the helicopter adventures, let’s begin!

The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call Best Moments!

Hospital Playlist Cameo

While not every one of us caught this moment, when we came across people talking about this cameo we all rushed back to the show. In the first few minutes of episode 1, an announcement is made calling for Dr. Ahn Jeong Won of Pediatrics reminding us of our beloved Hospital Playlist days when Dr Ahn stole our hearts. This has to be one of the best scenes simply because of the brief nostalgia it carries, making us all ready for a new adventure with this show. It is truly the simplicity of this moment that makes it such a big impact.

Baek Kang-hyeok’s Manipulation

Who can deny that the way Baek Kang-hyuk manipulates the situation according to him is attractive? The way he shows the power of his words is something that only makes you fall for him as he so easily takes on the role of a puppeteer so easily. These moments in the show have really been well done, adding to the excitement of the show.

Return to Black Wings

From a hospital in Sudan to the base of Black Wings, these moments were remarkable and it wasn’t just Baek Kang-hyuk who shined in these moments. The force that drives his team is so beautifully shown in these moments that you begin to understand why he chose them as his students. Nurse Jang-mi is the one who most shines in these scenes and we absolutely fell in love with her. Not to forget, seeing a side of Kang-hyuk’s past is always worth it.

Han Yu-rim Becomes Baek Kang-hyuk

While Dr Baek was busy with his adventure in Sudan, Han Yu-rim took over to look after the Trauma Center and there is nothing more amusing than this. While we all love Han Yu-rim’s revival arc, this moment in particular stands out. The way he flings his stethoscope and orders everyone around, managing the centre to the best of his ability is something that we all loved. And he truly knows how to overdo it, especially when he also takes up going to the fire scene himself. Even Dr Baek’s slaves can’t copy him as well as Han Yu-rim.

Helicopter Adventures

Dr Baek and his hospital scenes are all truly amazing and there is no denying that we have loved all of these scenes. Especially when he jumps out of the helicopter in Episode 1 and then even breaks into his patient’s skull. He takes his job seriously and doesn’t shy away from preparing himself for the worst. And let’s agree, these scenes were especially charming.

Slave No 2- Seo Dong-ju

Finally, the moment Dr Baek meets Seo Dong-ju in Sudan, he knows he has found his new slave. While this point is directed more towards the Webtoon’s fans, we all know that this moment is something that is worth remembering. Let’s hope the second season of this show releases soon so that we can get more of Dr Baek’s Slave #2.
