What You Need to Look Forward to in Study Group: Study Group starring Hwang Min-hyun is taking away our attention this week as the show not only manages to steal our hearts within minutes but also leaves us excited for how it is to progress. Based on a Webtoon of the same name, this show not only brings to life the characters of the comic but also leaves Kdrama fans intrigued by the plot. And to top it all off, the actors are truly bringing to life the characters with their performance.
Study Group (스터디그룹) follows a student who wants to be good at studying but is only good at fighting. He later forms a study group at the worst school in town and begins his journey towards the dreaded college entrance exams. With some action and some thrill, this show is set to be an entertainer unlike any other. Directed by Lee Jang-hoon, the drama stars Hwang Min-hyun, Han Ji-eun, Cha Woo-min, Shin Soo-hyun, and other cast members.
Coming back to the show, this week is going to see another fun mix of twists and turns as we see the plot moving forward. From the study group slowly forming into a club with new members, to Ga-min’s possible face-off with Pi Han-ul, there’s a lot that is set to happen this week. What to Look Forward to in Study Group!
The New Addition
The previous episodes left when a new application arrived for the study group. This revealed that Yusung Technical High School is a coed school, meaning the new member joining the group is a girl. This new girl is possibly going to be the character Lee Ji-u played by Shin Su-hyun. With her unique personality, she is ready to bring a new vibe to the group and leave us stunned.
Ga-min Catches Han-ul’s Attention
As talks about Ga-min spread around the school, Han-ul is bound to get intrigued by this new character whose name is popping up more often. However, this attention from Han-ul is never a good thing and for someone as blockheaded as Ga-min, it can be even more chaotic. The mess between these two is just starting so seeing their first interaction this week is something we are hoping for.
New Opponents
With new additions to the study group come new opponents for Ga-min who is now being seen as a competition by many. After his fierce battle in the class, he is surely becoming a character the students either don’t want to mess with or just want to mess with as soon as possible. As these two groups continue to gather around Ga-min, it won’t be easy for him to have the simple studying sessions he had been hoping for. However, with these competitors, we can also look forward to the other skills Ga-min has acquired in recent years.
These opponents mean that we are also going to get some intense action scenes from Hwang Min-hyun which are always worth the watch. And with the first week giving us some very beautiful scenes, there is no way we are not looking forward to what more is to come!
Lee Han-gyeong’s Past
Finally, we can also expect more information to be revealed about Han-gyeong’s past and what made her come to Yusung Technical High School. Episode 2 showed us something, but it wasn’t enough which is why the curiosity is skyrocketing for viewers. And her interaction with Geon-yeob only made it worse, so let’s hope we get something of this too.
