Let’s begin!

6 Kdramas Similar to Love Your Enemy

Welcome to Samdal-ri

The year began with a couple coming together after years of separation and we are ending the year on a similar note. This is a drama that was loved by all as we see our beloved couple come back together after years, holding feelings that never changed. This drama was simply beautiful and seeing this couple come back together was as satisfying as it could get.

The plot revolves around two childhood sweethearts from a small town who separate when growing up only to reunite years later. But will they be able to rekindle the love they hold for each other?

Tale of the Nine-Tailed

Years of separation are already hard enough, but when years turn to centuries, the pain is simply unbearable. Yet, our beloved gumiho waited for his beloved as times changed from those of the Three Kingdoms to modern-day South Korea. Their heartfelt love story really touched hearts more than the plot, and we still cannot get over them.

The plot follows the mythical nine-tailed fox who protects humans from supernatural dangers while waiting for his beloved first love to reincarnate. But will he be able to recognise the one he loved in a new era?

Moving

This show was an entertainer like no other, but we have to say that it was the boy’s parents and their love story that really had us all captivated. Mi-hyeon and Du-shik were a couple we still find hard to get over and this couple proved their love to the world in ways that melted our hearts. But it was the scene of their reunion after years for their beloved son that really had us all crying, especially when he stepped on the purple-painted roof.

The plot follows high school students who have inherited special powers from their parents. As they struggle to hide these skills from the world outside, their parents protect them from being exploited by people who want their powers.

Go Back Couple

Separation is needed to strengthen one’s love and this show proves this statement in the best way possible. This show is filled with entertainment, but it is the way the couple get back together after going to their past and finding themselves back to each other that catches us. This show has it all and is really something that we cannot miss out on.

The plot follows a couple who married early, but now in their late 30s, they are unable to bear each other. However, when the two find themselves back in their younger years, they are given a chance to change everything that went wrong- including getting married. What will the couple do now?

Gyeongseong Creature 2

This may seem like an unexpected add to this list, but if you’ve seen this series then you know that the moment Tae-sang and Chae-ok met in season 2, we couldn’t stop our screams. This was the moment we had been waiting for and it was worth the wait because we know how much they need each other especially when they’ve changed. This couple is certainly one of the best ones we’ve got this year.

The plot continues the story of the monstrous creature that has not come to an end; a tale that continues into modern times and creates havoc in a new world.

Our Beloved Summer

Finally, we have a couple who reunite in a humourous way that no one expected. While Choi Woong may have sprayed Yeon-soo with water and thrown salt on her, that just began their reunion of their love which was lost over the years. This couple is simply adorable and chaotic, bringing us the right amount of comedy and romance.

The plot follows two bickering ex-lovers who are brought together due to filming that they both cannot avoid. And with this begins a journey filled with memories and love that waited too long.
