Are You Sure Episode 5 Review: A Fun-Filled and Mouthwatering End to The Trip!

The adventure we have all been waiting for is finally here as BTS’ Jimin and Jungkook are ready to take us on their adventure in their documentary Are You Sure?!. We are taken to three global destinations- New York, Jeju Island and Sapporo, where they show their undeniable chemistry and friendship. As they travel through these destinations and show the best of the place, we are set for an unforgettable adventure.

Before they enlisted in the South Korean military, the Busan Boys BTS’ Jimin and BTS’ Jungkook came together for an eight-episode-long adventure that is to be released on Disney+.

Following the fun fishing experience in the sea, Jimin, Jungkook, and V (Kim Taehyung) head to grab some dinner; and what better than some barbeque? The trio heads inside and is ready for a big dinner, accompanied by some goofy moments which make everyone laugh out loud. As Jungkook grills the meat, the members enjoy the food while speaking about their upcoming military service and the advice Jin gives them.

Jimin then notices the crew who haven’t eaten and tries to make a ssam (wrap) for them only to see them getting up to grab some dinner themselves. Seeing this the other two begin laughing at Jimin’s ssam that makes people run and Jimin makes them the target of his ssam. Following the dinner, the members leave the restaurant when a cat and dog catch their eyes and they begin a round of playing with them.

After a round of playing, the members return to the villa where the pool awaits them to have some fun. Wasting no time, the trio get into the pool and begin goofing around with the props laid for them and their own little game of rock, paper, and scissors. Later, the trio heads back and while Taehyung heads straight to bed after changing, Jimin and Jungkook still have some energy to spare.

Jungkook doesn’t waste any opportunity to tease Jimin and the latter makes sure to try to get his revenge, even though he fails most of the time. Soon, they too head to bed and the day comes to an end. The next morning marks the last day of the trio’s Jeju Island trip and this day is filled with lots of food for the three.

After a little photosynthesis session for Jungkook, Jimin’s struggle with setting his hair, and Taehyung’s disappearance to get some workout done, the trio head out to grab some breakfast. The first stop is a place that makes the trio feel like home and while Jungkook complains about how delicious food just makes him fat, he doesn’t stop himself from filling his stomach and heart.

Soon after, the trio head back to the villa where Jungkook prepares something special in the kitchen that he came across some days back at a restaurant- beef stew. He begins the preparations while the others catch some sleep. Soon, the food is ready and the members are amazed by the food.

They soon call the crew inside to try the food as well and everyone falls in love with the food prepared by the beloved maknae. With this, the Jeju Island trip comes to an end and the trio discuss how wonderful this experience has been for every one of them. Taehyung even speaks of how he feels younger after coming here while Jungkook mentions loving going on this trip with Jimin and Taehyung.

With this, the Jeju Island trip comes to an end and we look forward to the upcoming winter in Sapporo, Japan.

Are You Sure Episode 5 Review

The Jeju Island segment of Are You Sure?! has truly been a wonderful experience for the trio as well as for the viewers who got to witness the maknae line in their eased state. With mouthwatering food, beautiful sights, the trio’s goofiness and lame jokes, this trip has been memorable for everyone.

While we are surely looking forward to the final segment of the show and hoping for another member to join them, this was an unforgettable trip and we wouldn’t mind more from this trio. With mentions of their military enlistments in this episode that got us teary, the stories shared by Jin and their silly worries only made us all laugh instead.

Altogether, the Jeju Island trip was a wonderful mix of everything we wanted and we are going to miss the time spent here.
