Sorry For Confessing: So Joo-yeon, Kim Kang-min, and Yeon Je-hyung to Lead the Upcoming Rom-Com

The upcoming short-form rom-com Sorry For Confessing has officially announced its star-studded cast, with So Joo-yeon, Kim Kang-min, and Yeon Je-hyung confirmed as the leads. This new drama, featuring a unique and humorous storyline, is set to explore the chaotic aftermath of a woman’s unexpected confession, entangling four men in the process.

Leading the cast, Joo-yeon, known for her roles in Lovestruck in the City and A Love So Beautiful, will portray Kim Se-ra, a webtoon PD whose spontaneous confession to her unrequited love sparks a series of unexpected events. Her impulsive act sets the stage for a rollercoaster of emotions and entanglements, making her the central figure in this unconventional love story.

Kang-min steps into the role of Lee Soon-kyu, the unsuspecting webtoon writer caught off guard by Kim Se-ra’s sudden confession. Although he may seem innocent, Lee Soon-kyu is firm about maintaining boundaries, adding a layer of complexity as he navigates the fine line between professional and personal relationships.

Je-hyung, a rising star recognised for his work in Love Is Jungle will take on the role of Park Hyun-woo, Kim Se-ra’s long-time boyfriend and a job seeker. Park Hyun-woo faces an emotional dilemma following her confession, struggling with the implications it has on their relationship and his own feelings.

The drama is scripted by Do Moon-hee, known for crafting engaging and relatable narratives. Directing the project is Hwang Da-seul, celebrated for her work on To My Star and Blueming.
