No Gain No Love Kdrama

Rom-com queen Shin Min-ah returns to the screen two years after her last drama, Our Blues, with a modern and relatable heroine. Known for her roles in Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, Oh My Venus and My Girlfriend is a Gumiho, Shin Min-ah introduces fans to a bolder side of her usual charming persona in the newest Korean drama series. Prime Video customers in more than 240 countries and territories can watch new episodes of No Gain No Love Kdrama weekly, on Mondays and Tuesdays, starting August 26.

In No Gain No Love (손해 보기 싫어서), Shin Min-ah plays Son Ha-young, a woman who is determined not to lose money under any circumstances. Growing up, Ha-young had to share her mother’s love with others and often found her partners falling below her break-even point. Now, she faces the possibility of missing out on a job promotion. To avoid this loss, Ha-young devises a plan for a fake wedding and recruits Kim Ji-uk, a part-time cashier at a convenience store, to be her fiancé.

Kim Ji-uk, played by Kim Young-dae (known for The Forbidden Marriage and Moon in the Day), is a neighbourhood hero who works night shifts and can’t ignore people in need. The series also features Lee Sang-yi as Bok Gyu-hyun, a third-generation chaebol and CEO of the company where Ha-young works, and Han Ji-hyeon (Cheer Up, The Penthouse) as Nam Ja-yeon, a popular R-rated web novel writer and Ha-young’s close friend and roommate.

Directed by Kim Jung-sik (Strong Girl Nam-soon, Work Later, Drink Now) and written by Kim Hye-young (Her Private Life), No Gain No Love Kdrama promises a delightful and contemporary romance.
