Miss Night and Day Episode 1 Preview: The upcoming 16-episode series follows a young job-seeker named Lee Mi-jin, played by Jung Eun-ji. She spent 8 years to pass the civil service exam and yet, she only gets part-time jobs. However, an incident causes her to age into a 50-year-old in the day and rejuvenate back into her 20s in the night.

She uses her unique ability to get a job, uses a new name Im-sun (Lee Jung-eun) and wows many people around her with her experience – especially Gye Ji-woong (Choi Jin-hyuk). However, he gets involved with both sides of her. How will Mi-jin keep up the charade in front of him and others? 

The upcoming fantasy comedy series will begin airing on June 15th on JTBC in South Korea and Netflix worldwide. The drama stars Lee Jung-eun, Jung Eun-ji, Choi Jin-hyuk, Baek Seo-hoo and others. Lee Hyung-min is the director of the series and is known for popular works such as Winter Sonata, I’m Sorry, I Love You, Chocolate, Strong Woman Do Bong Soon and others. Good Casting fame Park Ji-han screenwrites for the drama as well.

Miss Night and Day Plot 

Lee Mi-jin represents many young Koreans who dream of becoming an office worker and spend a lot of their time studying for the civil service exam. To ensure that she does not have to live on her parents’ money, Mi-jin became an expert part-time worker. Through those jobs, she becomes a seasoned worker but yet finds it difficult to get a full-time job. 

A unique incident causes her to transform into a 50-year-old in the day and revert to her young self in the night. She uses that opportunity to become a senior intern at a reputed company. With her extensive knowledge and the energy of her young self, Im-sun (Mi-jin) becomes a legend. At her job, she meets Gye Ji-woong – a sensitive and cranky prosecutor who believes in perfection. Through a series of incidents, he becomes involved with Im-sun in the day and Mi-jin in the night. With so much at stake, how will Mi-jin find her way out?

Episode 1 Prediction 

As seen through the various teasers and trailers, the first episode will show Mi-jin and her crazy world. She will be introduced as a diligent and high-achieving person who has yet to crack an interview and find a full-time job. She lives by the mantra ‘Spend your money on your dreams’ and to ensure her parents are not pressured to pay for her, she takes up multiple part-time jobs while she studies for the civil service exam. 

We will also be introduced to her best friend Do Ga-yeong (played by Kim Ah-young) – a live streamer who makes enough money to enjoy life. They lead very different lives but they enjoy each other’s company. The episode will also show Mi-jin transforming into a 50-year-old. The initial shock will last for a while but she will also begin using it to become a senior intern for a prosecutor named Gye Ji-woong. 

Miss Night and Day Release Date and Time 

The fantasy comedy series will be premiering its first episode on June 15th, 2024 at 10:30 PM KST (7 PM IST). The drama will be releasing episodes every Saturday and Sunday.

Miss Night and Day Cast 

The drama stars Jung Eun-ji, Lee Jung-eun and Choi Jin-hyuk as leads. Jung Eun-ji is known for her breakout role in Reply 1997. She has gone on to act in dramas like Lovers of Music, Work Later, Drink Now, Blind and more. 

Lee Jung-eun is a legendary actor who has acted as the housekeeper Moon-gwang in Parasite. She has acted in dramas like Ms. Hammurabi, Strangers from Hell, Law School, Our Blues and more. Choi Jin-hyuk has acted in dramas like The Heirs, Emergency Couple, Tunnel, Rugal and more.

    is she going to act like a winey twelve years old the whole tv show,

    And then does the magical things happening???? Im 35 minutes out and im just horrible bored, and make flashy like sailor moon, but make it last less than a firgging 2 minutes transformation.

    The retardenes here is off the scale…(her atleast), i hope the rest is better and the 1 episode…..
