Finally premiering on April 18, the new K-pop audition survival series has kicked off and is already leading us into the second week of the show with the I LAND 2 Episode 2 Preview. The Korean reality competition series (아이랜드2), originally holding the title I-LAND Season 2: N/a, features 24 participants encompassing K-pop stars and idol trainees. Notable contestants include Bang Jeemin, who also appeared on the survival show R U Next?, Choi Jungeun, a former contestant on CAP-TEEN, Choi Soul, Fuko, a former contestant on Girls Planet 999 and others.
Hosted by actor Song Kang, the survival reality show has the ultimate aim for the last-standing 12 contestants to debut as members of a girl group. The I LAND 2 audition series has welcomed a star-studded lineup of mentors for the girls. This stellar list of regular judges includes Producer Teddy Park, BIGBANG’s Taeyang, VVN, 24, Monika Shin, Jeon Somi, and Lee Jung-lee.

With 24 hopefuls vying for a spot in the exclusive I-LAND, the stakes were high as only 12 would ultimately remain.
