Them Season 2: Everything to Know About Prime Video’s Horror Anthology Series!

The first season of Them came as a surprise hit in 2021, with its dark and dreary look at a Black family moving to an all-white neighbourhood in the 1940s and 50s during the Great Migration. The beauty of the first season is that it showcases not only supernatural horror but also the horror that this lovable and middle-class family faces just for being who they are. The two facets mix together beautifully to give us a truly horrifying and uncomfortable time, filled with tension and heartbreak. The second season, thus, comes as a welcome addition!

Them Season 2 Plot

The second season will be set in Los Angeles during 1991 (in place of Compton, 1952, of the first season) and will centre on LAPD Homicide Detective Dawn Reeve, who finds himself absolutely baffled when a new case drops on his lap – the brutal murder of a foster home mother. As hardened detectives find themselves shaken and in disbelief, Dawn pushes against every roadblock to find the culprit and bring them to justice.

However, it’s those mangled, disproportionate bodies that constantly make her question the murderer, making her wonder whether or not this is a seasoned killer who knows exactly what they are doing. As she gets closer to the truth, however, she finds herself doubting everything as things get more and more questionable. She soon starts to hear and feel things that might not be there… or are they? Putting herself and her family in danger, she tries her best to solve this shocking crime and get to the bottom of the truth but the truth might not be what she expects.
