Doctor Slump Episode 16 Preview: Jeong-woo’s failed proposal and Ha-neul’s method to get him back on track, however, the trouble of separation is soon to come their way.
Doctor Slump (닥터슬럼프) is a new Korean medical rom-com that tells the story of two intelligent individuals who have been rivals throughout their school days. However, they will soon face each other again when they find each other at their worst moment and decide to become a place of comfort for each other.
Directed by Oh Hyun-jong, the drama stars Park Shin-hye, Park Hyung-sik, Yoon Park, Kong Seong-ha, Jang Hye-jin, and Hyun Bong-sik, alongside other cast members. Doctor Slump takes over the JTBC’s Saturday and Sunday 22:30 time slot previously occupied by Welcome to Samdal-ri.

Doctor Slump Episode 15 Recap
Jeong-woo’s first attempt at proposing fails and he ends up buying a lot of jewellery for Ha-neul without finding the chance or courage to give it to her. Meanwhile, Ha-neul is angered by the way Jeong-woo is treated by the media and the hospital as publicity material and gets drunk with Hong-ran.
Jeong-woo witnesses the two and calls Dae-young for help. Hong-ran speaks about her insecurities when it comes to dating while Ha-neul speaks of how bad she felt when everyone tried to use Jeong-woo. The next day, Jeong-woo meets his school friend who apologises to him followed by a call from the hospital’s PR team who will no longer cover his charity surgery.
The credit for the two goes to Ha-neul who called them at night to help Jeong-woo. The surgery soon commences and it is during this that the couple realises that they are finally out of their slump. Meanwhile, Dae-young confesses to Hong-ran while Jeong-woo’s secret collection of jewellery for Ha-neul is out, giving him the courage to propose.

Jeong-woo is unable to understand if his proposal was a success while Ha-neul gets an offer to study in another country for 6 months. Jeong-woo finds out about this and tries to let go of Ha-neul, however, his drunken state says something else to her. Will the couple be able to make it through this heartbreaking separation?
