Later, Suk-joon offers to take Joo-ran home while Eun-ho does the same for Hee-yeon. As the two couples leave, Ji-hyuk is confused about the closeness between Hee-yeon and Eun-ho before he too leaves to go back downstairs. Ji-won returns home, unaware that a shadow looms near her.

Suddenly, her doorbell rings and she opens it to see no one outside, right then Su-min appears out of nowhere and uses a taser to make Ji-won faint. She then blames Ji-won for making her do this by throwing Min-hwan at her and confesses how she had to kill him because he was trying to kill her. Su-min tells her that she will play the victim once again by making people pity her and is happy that she has won over Ji-won. However, Ji-won makes her realise that she has lost and this time it is Ji-won who has won the game.

Ji-won gets up from her place and breaks out of the binds before locking Su-min in a Judo move and making sure that she stays there until backup arrives. Su-min is sure that she will get away this time as there is no evidence against her until Ji-won tells her that her confession has been recorded and there is no way she can run away after killing Min-hwan.

A flashback shows how Ji-won found out that Su-min got her hands on a flammable substance and planned this trap for Su-min as she no longer wants to run away from her. However, Ji-hyuk was against this and only agreed after he made sure that Ji-won could defend herself. Their plan finally worked and Su-min will no longer bring fear into their lives.

The two end the day in each others’ arms as they look forward to a new beginning. Elsewhere, Yu-ra is in deep trouble and rushes to leave the country. She takes the keys to her car from her subordinate and rushes to the airport, however, fate takes her towards the end that was previously given to Ji-hyuk.

The next day, Ji-hyuk notices that his mark is no longer there and rushes to tell Ji-won about this. As the two think about what could’ve caused this, they see news about Yu-ra’s accident and understand that Ji-hyuk has been saved from his ill fate. Soon, the girl group get together to celebrate their new beginnings at Eun-ho’s new restaurant while Ji-won lives a fulfilling life with Ji-hyuk who is looking forward to their future together.
