The tale begins with Lyès and his team thwarting a drug deal, unravelling intel about new players in the market. There’s a pervasive fear surrounding the mastermind behind these drug peddlers. Among the apprehended men, one reveals details about a figure resembling an Arab, known as ‘the Indian.’ Unexpectedly, Franck Murillo, believed to be deceased, emerges as the orchestrator of these drug transactions. The Indian alerts Murillo about a botched drug deal, but Murillo’s current focus isn’t on Lyès—it’s on Kamel Saïdi, whom he believes is responsible for his son’s death and seeks revenge against.
Ali Saïdi, Kamel’s uncle, runs the Marseille drug trade with an untouchable aura, but Murillo is fixated on Ali, convinced of his involvement in his son’s demise. Meanwhile, the Indian plots to usurp Ali’s empire. Collaborating, Murillo and the Indian venture into Saïdi territory, selling drugs to provoke Ali’s arrival in Marseille. Simultaneously, Alice Vidal, Pierre Vidal’s daughter, a revered cop slain by Murillo, arrives in Marseille, joining Lyès’ team. Their goal shifts to pursuing the Indian, as Ali’s tenure in the drug trade coincides with reduced crime rates in the city.
Who Was Responsible For Murillo’s Son’s Death?
While searching for the reason and how to catch Murillo and the Indian, aka Tarek Hamadi, Lyès remembers that there was a witness who was there when Murillo’s son died, so Lyès and Alice venture to meet Abdel, the proprietor of the bar situated near the tragic event involving Murillo’s son. During their conversation, Abdel discloses a crucial detail that Ali was present at the scene when Murillo’s son was fatally shot. Shockingly, it unfolds that the intended target that day was Ali, and the tragic loss of Murillo’s son was an unintended consequence of the gunfire.
Subsequently, Lyès’ team successfully traces the weapon responsible for Murillo’s son’s death, linking it to the same firearm used by the individual known as the Indian. Astonishingly, it becomes evident that the Indian orchestrated the killing of Murillo’s son, cunningly framing Ali and currently manipulating Murillo to seize control of Ali’s enterprise.
After Ali’s arrest, Murillo decides to flee, leaving the Indian to take over Ali’s business in his absence. Meanwhile, Lyès’s team informs Murillo’s mother about the Indian’s involvement in the death of Murillo’s son. Murillo, seeking revenge, had initially targeted Ali, believing he was responsible for his son’s death. With the help of an informant, Lyès’ team apprehends the Indian, who meets his demise at the hands of the very people he tried to command. He had instructed them to procure Ali’s stock for him.
Lyès then speaks to these individuals responsible for the Indian’s demise, directing them to spread the word that the Indians are still alive. In exchange, they are promised no further investigation into the case. This decision aids Lyès and his team in luring Murillo. When Murillo learns from her mother that the Indian was the true perpetrator behind her son’s death and attempts to seek revenge, Alice intervenes. She manages to control her emotions and refrains from immediately harming Murillo.

Why Was Lyès Arrested In The End?
Lyes Benamar, leading the narcotic crime department, operated with a unique approach that often led to fatal consequences. Miranda, an officer from Internal Affairs, sought to arrest him after attempting to leverage evidence and coax his team members against him. Despite her efforts, Lyes’ team remained fiercely loyal, refusing to divulge any information and alerting him to the blackmail attempt.
Amid celebrations over the arrests of Murillo and Ali Saïdi, the department head revealed that Alice wouldn’t be sent to Paris. Unbeknownst to them, Miranda had been investigating Lyes’ team, seeking to dismantle their association with individuals like Ali. Eventually, she gathered enough material to blackmail some of Lyes’ team members.
In a surprising move, Lyes, for the sake of his team, entrusted a confession to one of his teammates, who later handed it over to Miranda following a confrontation. Miranda then presented the confession, which also involved Ali’s name, to the District Attorney. Despite the DA’s reluctance to arrest Ali due to political reasons, they allowed Miranda to proceed with Lyes’ arrest.
