Kpop concert movies have made music festivals and extravagant presentations more accessible to the fans worldwide. Some of them have even been exclusively billed as theatrical releases, yet another pocket-friendly alternative on a bigger scale for those wishing to attend live productions, but can’t.

On November 9, 2023, K-pop fans were delighted to see the premiere of "BTS Yet to Come" on Amazon Prime Video, which helped them reconnect with all seven members of the group in the same frame after a long time due to their ongoing military service period. ‘We Are Here’ was MONSTA X's third worldwide tour. It kicked off in April 2019 in Seoul, South Korea, back when the group was still a septet. Shaking up the stadium with their raving experimental sound, members performed hits from the ‘Take 2 We Are Here’ album, along with their exclusive presentations of special unit productions.

Also directed by Oh Yoon-dong, the first-ever SEVENTEEN concert film (2022) documents the members' words of gratitude extended to their fanbase, CARAT. All 13 members engage in an in-depth conversation in addition to showcasing their performances of songs like Crush, Anyone, Clap, Mingyu and Wonwoo's Bittersweet, Hoshi's Spider, Dino's unreleased track Last Order and more.

SEVENTEEN Power of Love The Movie

This 2022 documentary / concert film divulges the septet’s deep feelings of gratitude to their fans, with their individual interviews also dishing on the members' quirks. The theatrical premiere catches the band's second solo concert 'NCT DREAM TOUR "THE DREAM SHOW 2 : In A DREAM' at the Olympic Stadium in South Korea and presents their musical evolution and emotional journey over the years.

The special cinematic cut of IU's 2022 concert marks the singer's first ever global cinema release. Celebrating her as the first Korean female singer to have performed at the Olympic Main Stadium in Seoul, the 2023 film presents her show’s stellar stage production with a strawberry moon balloon, fireworks and drone show.

The BLACKPINK concert movie has been directed by Su Yee-jung and Oh Yoon-dong, and was released in 2021, honouring the group’s 5th anniversary. The cinematic footage brings forth live performances from two concert series - 'The Show' and 'In Your Area World Tour', and celebrates the group's unity and strength when they're onstage together.

Named after the group's second live album, "EXO PLANET #3" was the third concert tour and second world tour presented by the group. This concert DVD is a high quality testament to EXO's power and unbelievable stage presence. It’s proof enough as to why EXO bagged the Best Concert Award at the Edaily Culture Awards in 2017.

The 2023 Lim Young-woong concert movie was also directed by Oh Yoon-dong, and it cinematically captures the South Korean singer's encore concert 'IM HERO' that took place at the Gocheok Sky Dome in the winter of 2022. With moving live performances, the film also conveys the singer's genuine thoughts of winning people's love with his art.
