Koffee With Karan Season 8 Episode 3 Review ft. Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday

The episode starts with Karan inquiring about Ananya's dating life, playfully teasing her with the remark, 'Aren't you a bit gumrah by love?' To which she replied, 'That's how Aashiqui unfolds,' giving a glimpse into the depth of her feelings.

Sara Ali Khan clears the rumours about not dating  cricketer Shubman Gill and also indicates that he might be dating Sara Tendulkar by saying, "Sara ka sara duniya galat sara ke piche pada hai."

When asked about having a common ex, Kartik Aryan, and if it is easy for them to be friends, Sara Ali Khan answered that it is not easy, but people understand and move on.

Ananya Panday also revealed that she received a lot of love from the time she debuted, but now what she wants is respect and for people to appreciate her as an actor and take her seriously.

Ananya also revealed that she was stuck in the glam life for a while, where she only cared about her looks. Because of this, she didn't understand her true self and what she was actually doing.

Karan revealed a rift with Kareena Kapoor and Kajol in 2003. They didn't talk for a year and a half until Bebo reached out when the director's father got cancer. They reconciled after his passing, cherishing their renewed bond. Something similar happened with Kajol, wherein the two rekindled their friendship thanks to his children's births.

Sara also talked about why she doesn’t use designer bags and shoes. She explained it's not about relatability but being mindful of her Instagram followers, and consciously making a choice. She also mentioned that she finds it ridiculous when people go to get their hair blow-dried just before heading to the airport.

Ananya cleverly addressed dating rumours with Aditya Roy Kapur, coining the term 'Ananya Coy Kapur.' When asked about the challenges of dating a fellow actor, she highlighted the struggle with privacy amidst constant speculation and intrusive conversations.

Karan's return made this episode stand out, shifting the focus from family to celebrity dating experiences. The camaraderie felt genuine, like siblings, though the excessive Aditya Roy Kapur discussion felt unnecessary given the confirmed relationship. Despite that, their newfound friendship is heartwarming.
