Netflix is all set to release Elite Season 7 this week. In the last few years, it is the longest original series that has been unstoppable. The new trailer just dropped, and we are now introduced to some new characters.
Elite series on Netflix has introduced us to new faces in the last few seasons. Season 7 will see the return of Omar Shanaa, played by actor Omar Ayuso. The actor had left the show in season 5. But will now return to showcase the traumas caused by his school, Las Encinas.
Elite Season 7 ended with Ivan’s accident and the sound of a gunshot. In the new trailer, Omar has found a new lover. But, he feels guilty for Samuel’s death and is struggling to overcome the drastic changes that happened in the past few years. The synopsis reads, “Omar is back. Iván has a broken heart. Isadora deals with her dangerous family. Is it possible for the students at Las Encinas to trust one another?”
We might also find out the mystery of the gunshot. Who shot whom? Who’s the new threat to the students of Las Encinas? Will there be another death in the new season? The makers have a lot to unfold amidst all the s*x and drama that will be packed in the new season.
Along with Omar Ayuso, a few actors from the last season will be a part of the new story. The cast includes André Lamoglia as Ivan, Valentina Zenere as Isadora, Álvaro de Juana as Didac, Ander Puig as Nico, Ana Bokesa as Rocio, Nadia Al Saidi as Sonia, Carmen Arrufat as Sara, and Álex Pastrana as Raul.
The new cast members include Fernando Líndez as Joel (Omar’s new possible love interest), Mirela Balić as Chloe, Gleb Abrosimov as Maribel Verdu (Nico’s Cousin), and others. Brazilian singer Anitta joins the show as Las Encinas’ new self-defence professor, Jessica.
The new season is all set to release on Netflix on Friday, October 20, 2023. It will drop at 12:30 pm IST or 12 am PT.
