Kim Kardashian’s joining the cast of American Horror Story Delicate was a shock and surprise to many. Why pick Kim for any real serious role, right? Well now that the first episode of the series has dropped and we have a basic idea of who’s playing whom, Kim’s role seems to be an important one and well-suited for her too.
American Horror Story Delicate is based on Danielle Valentine’s book Delicate Condition. The series is created by AHS’ very own Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. 20th Century Fox Television produces it for FX on Hulu. Emma Roberts is an oldie in the AHS universe who is loved by everyone and headlines this season. We also have Billie Lourd, Denis O’Hare and Leslie Grossman as cast members. The recurring cast members are Annabelle Dexter-Jones, Odessa A’zion, Julie White, Debra Monk, Dominic Burgess, and Zachary Quinto.
What is Kim Kardashian Doing in American Horror Story Delicate?
Kardashian’s role has been introduced in the first episode of the show. Although we did not see a lot of her in the first episode, it is more than likely that her screen time will increase as the episodes go by.
Kim Kardashian is playing the role of Siobhan Corbyn. She is the publicist of Roberts’ Anna and also a very good and close friend. How the two became friends is also revealed in the first episode: Siobhan and Anna met at the support group for people trying out IVF and later, Siobhan ended up being an addition to Anna’s professional life too.
How relevant Kim’s character is going to be in the show can be attributed to how Valentine played out this particular character in her book which this season is based on. In the book, Siobhan happened to be an actor, very much like Anna and was also the latter’s best friend. This is a character that has certain grey shades as she has the potential to be an enemy or a friend given the situation. Hopefully, all these facets will be delightfully explored in the TV series.
