One of the biggest bands in the world is coming up on its tenth anniversary; in honour of that, we have compiled some pictures that really encompass BTS then vs now. These pictures will show just exactly how they have all grown up to become artists in their own right coming from such diverse backgrounds, making it work together even though sometimes that may not be possible. Without any further ado, here are some images of the OT7 that show their progression.
BTS Then vs Now
Jungkook
Then
Now
This artist has come a long way, not just in the way he presents himself but from the places he comes. These childhood images show him using a skateboard, wearing an oversized tank top. While the oversized vibe hasn’t left the artist yet, he has managed to refine his style and choose an aesthetic that works best for him, removing himself from what people expect from him. In the new images, we see tattoos, piercings and a hair length that he chose for himself.

The maturity in this artist’s face is extremely clear. While he started off looking like a child, the innocent naivety visible in his face, his older pictures show how his face and his personality have matured. He is authoritative enough to carry a room and his solo music. It is interesting to see how he still manages to keep that boyish charm while simultaneously also serving some assertive looks. Moreover, he has tried to be effortlessly well-dressed on every occasion, including but not limited to the airport.
RM (Namjoon)

While the artist is considered to be the leader of the group, the childhood images just confirm how well put together he is for that role. There is still an inkling of the child that he is, with the rounded face and the impressive smile. However, the years of being a leader have made him square on the shoulder. These BTS members childhood pics just show each of them has grown into their childhood personalities but with a maturity that seems extremely seamless. Especially for Namjoon, that meant taking up responsibility.
SUGA

In direct contrast to his childhood pictures, this artist has taken up the mantle of being the most edgy member of the band, and that seems to be working extremely well for him. Judging from the childhood picture, he looks like a little boy who enjoys playing games and likes pictures a little less because he’s shy. The soft little boy on top and the genius artist aesthetic on the bottom seem miles apart, but the commonality is still his ability to employ those big brown eyes.

His childhood pictures and his most recent pictures all have one thing in common: they’re both sporting such inquisitive individuals that it is difficult to make the distinction. From the pictures, we see that they’re literally giving the same energy. There is so much similarity in these images. The artist has a sweet disposition and is ready to make the world happier. However, with his most recent release, he has shown that he can successfully oscillate between being sweet and aloof and inquisitive and serious.

This artist grew up being the pretty boy, and he never let go of that. He is so real for that because he gives insane pretty boy energy even without trying. The above pictures show just how much he knows about his photogenic abilities. There are pictures he is in, and he looks cute enough to know that it was done intentionally. Even the most recent images share that same quality. It is fascinating to see the images have spiritual similarities, but the physical similarities have pretty much been discontinued.

The hair adds 70% of the personality for this artist because while the short hair gives him a cute look, the longer hair definitely gives him the rockstar vibe, ready to let it all out on stage. The recent images all look like magazine images that would make the cover, while the older one shows him looking a little afraid that someone was taking a picture in the first place. It looks almost like two different people, given the energy in these images. It is an absolute golden comparison, showing how much growth these artists have gone through.
