Heavenly Delusion Overview

Heavenly Delusion or Tengoku Daimakyo (天国大魔境) is adapted from the manga series of the same name by Masakazu Ishiguro. Produced by Avex Pictures and from Production I.G studio, the plot of the series surrounds the life of citizens post an unprecedented disaster that completely destroyed modern civilization.

Distributed by Disney platforms, the show is directed by Hirotaka Mori, and Kensuke Ushio gives the music. The episode has a runtime of 20-25 minutes.

After the last episode ended on a major cliffhanger, the plot of the latest episode has made considerable development. Even as the story is moving forward, it continues to remain unpredictable and maintains an original plotline. Moreover, the consistent character development of the main characters elevates the storytelling process and keeps the audience on edge at all times.

When we think that the story can no longer become complex, it adds another layer. The well-structured narrative of the dystopian world quickly makes it an immersive experience for the audience. Moreover, it is also engaging for the audience as the mysterious instances force everyone to think of numerous possibilities. Fan theories and discussions rise quickly as a result of the cryptic moments that raise multiple questions moving forward.

However, the episode is filled with entertaining instances that will bring out a few chuckles out of everyone. In spite of a serious plot line, the inclusion of fun-filled moments keeps the show fresh and exciting. The transition from a light-hearted scene to an action-packed one is done seamlessly. After many episodes, a man eater finally makes an entrance, adding the needed thrill.

Maru and Kiruko continue to grow closer to each other. While they are forced to mature in the dangerous environment, they continue to embrace their child like wonders. Nevertheless, despite their young age they are not afraid to step up whenever needed.

Besides the massive character growth, the plot has evolved remarkably and made some consequential revelations. The mystery about the unknown being is finally known to the audience. Not only is the secret out but also the story is better understood and explains a lot of the questionable situations that left us wondering about the reason. Moreover, even though the plot still remains unpredictable; still a few assumptions can be made about the future.

Furthermore, the plot becomes more complicated by adding twists and turns that provide depth and insight into certain characters. Slowly the audience will get a fairly good idea about the story and how it will be moving forward, but it will also leave them equally more confused. With an original plotline and unpredictable sub-plots, the episode ends with yet another big revelation which raises the anticipation within the fans of the show.

With the latest episode, the audience is finally coming closer to the conclusive secrets behind the bizarre instances happening throughout the series.  There is not one dull moment from start to finish, and it manages to keep the audience hooked. Even if the scenes are incorporated with humour, they are equally as important to the show in terms of plot and character development. The show is increasingly getting interesting with every episode.
