True to Love Episode 9 Preview unveils new developments in Bo-ra and Su-hyeok’s lives as they deal with the aftermath of kissing each other. Also known as Bo-ra! Deborah (보라! 데보라) is the latest romantic comedy-drama series on Amazon Prime Video. Co-directed by Lee Tae-gon and Seo Min-jeong, the K-Drama is developed by KT Studio Genie from a screenplay written by Ah Kyung. The story follows Yeon Bo-ra, who under the name of Deborah, works as a dating coach & is a best-selling author. She has advice for everyone regarding dating and relationships but can’t say the same about her own love life. However, things might change when she meets a cold guy as her publisher, Lee Soo-hyuk, who doesn’t values the work of a dating coach. At first, they are at crossroads but slowly try to understand and get to know each other.

In Episode 8, Bo-ra makes up the next plan which is to change the ending of her love story. According to her, humans are able to remember limited things as time goes by. Thus the start & ending of a relationship is what remains in memories and Bo-ra wants to change how she was perceived at the end of her relationship. She doesn’t want to be remembered as drunk & begging to take her back, instead leave him with a cool image that will make him think of her in a good light.
She explains that just like the film La La Land, she wants to appear in front of her ex-boyfriend, to show that she is living a good life and the breakup was the right thing to do. Staking out at Ju-wan’s favourite restaurant, Bo-ra straight away goes to his table when she sees him and has a cool-headed talk, sharing what hurt her and why she acted like that during the breakup. Her sincere feelings come across & before she starts crying, Bo-ra says goodbye in a chic way, leaving her ex a bit stunned with lingering feelings.
While her past relationship gets a closure, something else starts brewing when she kisses Su-hyeok while venting out feelings in the karaoke room afterwards. Simultaenously, despite Jin-ho’s naive attempts, Bo-mi accepts his public proposal and they decide to date each other.

In the preview for the next episode, it looks like Bo-ra and Su-hyeok try to brush it off under the rug and call their kiss a mistake. Bo-ra seems to be pretending totally fine, while also wondering if he likes her or not. The act of playing cool might take a negative turn as Su-hyeok might think that his feeling is being played with.
We also see more about Sang-jin’s marriage & divorce, it looks like the day when they got divorced and thus, the people around them are trying to uplift their mood. While Jin-woo might get in trouble again, as he tells Yu-jeong that he will be meeting one of his friends that came back from abroad, however, in reality, he goes out to meet a woman, whose identity is not revealed.
