Star Wars: Visions Volume 2 Review Contains No Spoilers

On Disney+ Hotstar, Lucasfilm has consistently given us different series to rejoice. It is the best time to be a Star Wars fan. Except for The Book of Boba Fett, all their shows have won great appreciation from viewers and critics. In 2021, when they dropped Star Wars: Vision Volume 1, they impressed us with their imagination and creativity. The anime was top-notch, and the stories were riveting.

With a new season, the makers decided to be more diverse, explore more ideas, and experiment as much as possible. Volume 2 brings us hope and love, shows sacrifices, and makes tough but important choices. The Jedi or dark powers do not majorly drive the characters, but their emotions, skills and connections do.

Star Wars Visions Volume 2 Review 1

The shorts I enjoyed the most from the 9 episodes of 15 minutes are Sith, In the Stars, I am Your Mother, The Bandits of Golak and Aau’s Song. I am Your Mother left me in tears. Star Wars know how to stir sentiments with such stories. The Pit is one of the most tragic episodes to watch. Its relevance to reality leaves a powerful impact on you.

Talking about the animation, the new season is visually entirely different from Star Wars: Visions Volume 1. In fact, every episode appears distinctive as different studios from various countries have worked on them. I found everything visually appealing. The episodes that left me bewitched with their vibrancy are Sith and The Spy Dancer.
