Kim Taehyung and Jeon Jungkook from the K-pop mega group BTS are making the headlines for appearing at the premier of an upcoming movie titled Dream. It has been a while since the members of the group made an appearance together, except for when they came to bid farewell to their member J-hope for his military enlistment, however, it was a personal affair.
Consisting of members including leader RM, Jin, Suga, J-hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook, the group is currently taking a break to complete their mandatory military service. Before enlisting, each member will be making their solo debut and so far, Taehyung and Jungkook are the only members left – since Jimin & Suga released their albums recently.
The two youngest members of the group came together for the premiere of the movie Dream, which stars Park Seo-joon and Lee Ji-eun aka K-pop singer IU, as lead protagonists. It is a sports comedy-drama movie which is written and directed by Lee Byeong-heon. It follows the story of a football player who has been assigned to coach a team of misfits for a competition.
Park Seo-joon and Kim Taehyung are well-known friends and are part of the ‘Wooga Sqaud’ which also includes Choi Woo-shik, Park Hyun-sik and Peakboy. Currently, Taehyung is seen on the cooking reality show Jinny’s Kitchen with Seo-joon & Woo-shik, where one can easily see their fun chemistry. Meanwhile, IU recently collaborated with another BTS member Suga for the song People Pt 2 and is also known as Jungkook’s favourite artist, among K-pop fans.
At the movie premiere, Kim Taehyung is seen wearing black denim with a white graphic T-shirt and a brown leather jacket. While Jungkook is donning a similar black denim with a grey T-shirt and the same colour jacket on top of it. Both are in semi-casual outfits in relaxed fits. It’s not unusual for some members of the group to make an appearance together, but what caught the fan’s eye is how they both seem so shy of each other.
Many memes like, ‘they know each other’, have come up as they appear like strangers meeting for the first time, in the videos. Their giggly self is making the fans happy and is awaiting to see them together on a live stream and share the behind-the-scenes from today.
