Taxi Driver Season 3: Here’s Why We Need Another Season With Do-ki and the Rainbow Taxi Team!

Taxi Driver season 2 has finally come to an end and there is no doubt that fans are already missing Do-ki and the rest of the Rainbow Taxi team. Not to forget the dissatisfaction that Do-ki Go-eun shippers have felt once again, there is no way that we can accept this as the ending of the show! Directed by Lee Dan, the show stars Lee Je-hoon, Kim Eui-sung, Pyo Ye-jin, Jang Hyuk-jin, Bae Yoo-ram, and Shin Jae-ha, alongside other cast members.

Season 2 brought the sequel of the Kdrama with new adventures of the Rainbow Taxi crew as they set to punish a new bunch of criminals while facing some old faces that are back for revenge. As more extensive and more dangerous challenges await the team, the exciting game is back with new looks and new faces in the group.

After the ending of season 2, the producers of the show announced their plans for season 3 and stated that it is already under work, and this was all that fans of the show needed. While the filming is yet to begin, a new season is definitely going to be made so that fans and shippers can get the satisfaction they’ve been waiting for this whole time.

Taxi Driver season 3 is surely going to bring back more excitement for viewers as the team takes on more intricate cases, however, there are many reasons why we really need a season 3. So without further ado, we bring to you the reasons why we really need a season 3!

The Do-ki Go-eun Ship

Season 2 has been a rollercoaster for all the Do-ki Go-eun shippers who have been waiting for more from this couple, however, it has been quite a let down for us all this season. While there were quite some heartwarming scenes from the two, with a hint of something more towards the end, there has been no confirmation which we had been waiting for this whole time.

So now we put our hopes on Season 3 and pray that the ship finally sails and gives us fans what we want from these two, and that is definitely more than the couple vibes that they’ve been giving us all season!

Do-ki’s Trauma

We have seen the Rainbow Taxi team each fight their demons and get over their pain one by one, however, Do-ki is yet to fully accomplish this. In season 2, we also saw the Bishop taking advantage of this very trauma of Do-ki’s to pull him down and this is something that we hope won’t happen again.

So let us look forward to how season 3 plays on Do-ki’s trauma while wondering if he will ever get over it one day.

New Characters

While Taxi Driver season 2 episode 16 showed us glimpses of two talented faces, there can be a possibility that there is more to the two of them. Kim So-yeon appeared as the first one to ride the deluxe taxi, but what is the story behind her being a part of this team and then leaving it? Her backstory is definitely intriguing and there might be more to her return that could be fascinating to us all.

On the other hand, Moon Chae-won’s character may have something more to do with Do-ki’s past which can explain the tension that sparked between the two at the end of the episode. So let’s hope that season 3 also plays out on these two characters of the show.

New Cases

Taxi Driver has always brought a bundle of intense and intriguing cases for us all and while the main plot may work well with us all, these cases have been something we all look forward to. Each of them holds so much importance and shows a side of the world that doesn’t fail to surprise us.

And knowing that season 3 will only heighten the intensity of these has us all eagerly waiting for more and how far this show can go with the cases.

These are only some of the reasons why we need a season 3 and what we can expect from the same, however, the wait is not going to be an easy one and we might not get everything that we want. But let’s wait for the new season and look forward to what the creators have in store for us all.
