Harry Potter Reboot Reactions: Fans Declare Nothing Remains Sacred in This Swarm of Reboots

The Harry Potter universe has gotten the most expansive story and has been doing very well by making different projects, including the games, the Fantastic Beasts franchise and the original universe featuring the three protagonists. However, the Harry Potter reboot reactions have got people questioning whether it would be a good idea to start all over again, erasing everything the past projects may have alluded to.

A collection of eight films and seven books, this series focuses on the young kid Harry who just turned 11 years old and has been told that he is a wizard. Following this, many bad things happen to him because Lord Voldemort or You-Know-Who has been making the rounds trying to get back at this kid for leaving him without a body and killing him unknowingly.

Over the next eight films, we see him battle his teacher, fight an actual snake in a secret chamber within Hogwarts, free his godfather from prison, take part in an insane competition to the death, start a secret army, lose his mentor and finally defeat the villain of this saga of events. HBO intends to bring back all these elements in a new television project where each book will be a season of the show. It must be noted that fans are already losing interest in the story world after JK Rowling made comments about the Transgender community.

Meanwhile, other fans are mad that this is getting a reboot in the first place because the original films were fantastic enough to be left as they are. Moreover, they have meant to see a different kind of project altogether. Since the first time the Marauders were featured in the books and the movies, audiences have taken their story and woven them into fan fiction, edits and sometimes even convinced other people that they have seen a movie with the Marauders even though there isn’t one.

Now, they are hoping that instead of rebooting the old series, the production company can choose to direct their energies on making a film or a show focusing on these four characters and their lives during the time when discrimination was at an all-time high. They were a found family that chose to be with each other no matter what until a betrayal shook their very grounds of friendship.
