From Me to You Ending Explained

From what we know after watching the drama series From Me to You, the story of Sawako and Kazehaya, who fall in love with each other from the start faces multiple roadblocks. Initially, their relationship faces the major obstacles of Kurumi’s ill-fated rumours that create a distance between them for a while. Nevertheless, the turbulent times ultimately strengthen their friendship bond.

In the later episodes, the entry of Miura complicates things further, as it makes Sawako nervous about her decision to confront Kazehaya about her feelings. As the first confession takes place, it gives birth to several misunderstandings, leading to both of them thinking that they rejected each other. The situation becomes worse when Kurumi tries to manipulate Sawako’s feelings, and this leads to Sawako distancing her from Kazehaya.

Eventually, Sawako’s friends help her realize that she must confess her true feelings clearly. This leads to both Sawako and Kazehaya finally getting together and dating at last. The heartwarming moment where they exchange their honest confessions through a chain of friends further highlights the strength and support of their friendship in helping them overcome their obstacles.

The story of Chizuru and Ryu is also explored in the series as part of a parallel track. They face many challenges, including Chizuru’s crush on Ryu’s elder brother, which creates tension between them. Like Sawako and Kazehaya, they also go back and forth, with rumours and misunderstandings causing problems in their relationship.

However, the two eventually end up together, with Ryu promising to return and marry Chizuru. Their relationship concludes with the elimination of all the obstacles and shortcomings and leads to significant honesty in maintaining their healthy relationship.

All in all, the series ends with a fulfilling role for not only the couple of Sawako and Kazehaya but also for the rest of the supporting characters, including Chizuru and Ryu. Moreover, the heartwarming finale also makes space for another continuation of the drama show.
