Apple TV+ released the final episode of the highly popular psychological thriller, and people have made their voices heard in the Servant finale reactions. This show is created by Tony Basgallop and executive produced by the legendary director M Night Shyamalan. It stars Lauren Ambrose, Nell Tiger Free, Toby Kebbell, Rupert Grint, and other cast members.
This series follows a small family in Philadelphia when a significant loss leaves them helpless and needy for support. When Leanne comes into their home, things become better for the worse. This last episode is titled ‘Fallen’ and is directed by Veronika Franz and Severin Fiala. This episode focuses on the last few hours of the Turners’ lives as things truly turn around for better or for worse.
Leanne has been a driving force in this story and the driving force by the end. She has been convincing Dorothy to give up on Sean and Julian so Jericho can come back. It will be just the two of them for the rest of their lives. Leanne has the power to make that happen, but when Dorothy takes her stand against this and chooses to let Jericho rest in peace, things start changing completely. The nanny now has no upper hand with the family. She is reduced to the person who had to go around begging for love.
Dorothy reassures Leanne and her penchant for goodness. She tells Leanne about their life and how they can all be together in this home. In an attempt to call Sean and Julian back home, Dorothy finds out that they need to go to the hospital to close his stitches. Before they all file into the car, Leanne goes back inside the house and starts sprinkling gasoline everywhere before setting it all on fire including herself.
She puts on the record she keeps listening to all the time and decides to complete the ritual Uncle George attempted to commence on her multiple times. This led to the natural end of the outpouring saga both inside and outside the house. The weather has become clear and bright, and even the colour grading in the show changed to become brighter.

The Turner house has been reduced to rubble, but insurance will cover their expenses for a new house and some compensation will be provided. Perhaps, this was the last gift Leanne had left for the turners. However, she is a gift that keeps on giving so when Julian is walking to get some coffee, Officer Reyes reveals to him that she is also a part of the Church of the Lesser Saints. He finds this hard to believe but she tells him about the time he almost died and he remembers that time he overdosed but was brought back to life by Leanne.
This leads us to the natural end of the show when the characters are just starting to make sense of the things happening around them and Julian looks right into the camera lens, and says ‘Holy Shit’ before the camera cuts off.
Like all M Night Shyamalan projects, this one too has some controversial takes. Some people thoroughly enjoyed the finale while others were too confused about the way the show ended. Out of these, some even took to explain how terribly this show has ended and how there is no real satisfaction in this show. So without any further ado, check out fan reactions below.

A fine close to a fine series. They came through with the final episode and it was a good one.
I am a huge fan of Servant. Each episode just pulls you in so engulfed I was that when it was over a had to look around and remember where I was. The finale was not what I expected. The turners leaving and starting anew life was a relief for me. Watching the part were Leeann destroys herself and the house was fantastic. I’m still a bit confused about why the world would end if Leeann didn’t take her life.
The entire 4th season of Servant was laughable. The final episodes were ridiculous and unwatchable. We never learn what the church is about and how the powers occur. One minute the Turners want to kill Leanne, the next they want to save her. Dorothy is an invalid throughout the season but can suddenly walk, run and climb stairs, no one ever calls the police to ask them to remove the menacing girl from the house and the cop who admits she’s a member of the church? Who cares!! What does it all mean? The script is so bad, that the twist hardly lands. Total waste of hours I’d rather use tweezing my armpit. M. Knight screwed the pooch on this one. Total garbage except for the scene when Leanne dies. That was actually pretty sick.
