Lewis Capaldi How I’m Feeling Now Trailer: Deep Dive into the Ballad Singer’s Life Behind the Stage

Netflix is once again exploring the lives of people in the public eye. With the Lewis Capaldi How I’m Feeling Now trailer, the streaming platform takes a look behind the scenes with the artist. Directed by Joe Pearlman, this documentary will take a deep dive into the life of the artist as he makes his come up from a scrappy teenager to a Grammy-Nominated performer. The trailer shows him exploring the stage and being fascinated by the aspects that make him a good artist.

However, we then start seeing some images that give us a little insight into the true nature of Lewis Capaldi, the man behind the exterior of an untouchable artist. He is goofy and ready to have some fun with his fame. Making use of his Tiktok, and connecting with his listeners has been one of the most important shots in the trailer. The trailer then expands to show us what it looks like behind the curtains. The big crowds are calling him but has that been helping him? He expresses in the trailer how becoming famous just made his insecurities worse. He is more insecure now than he has ever been in his life. Additionally, he also takes the time to explore the confines of the industry and understand the importance of pace when it comes to writing and releasing albums.

For a recurring artist, the clock is ticking. There is a dire demand to create and that is no way to work creatively in the first place. The people around him, especially his family, explain how Capaldi feels every time after playing a gig. As his mother makes it clear, he is not the comedian most people see all the time. After seeing the extreme highs of his life, this documentary also takes us through the lows. The points in his life that make him the most vulnerable.

He then talks about getting his mental health in order after feeling like there is a race against the clock. There are people depending on him to get better and this is a pressure he is willing to take on. The video then takes an optimistic turn to chart his mental growth, and with that, his range when it comes to singing and songwriting.

This time there is a different attitude to music. Even if there is pressure now, it’s all okay because if things don’t go well, there is still something fun in making music and different projects. Lewis Capaldi tells his own story in this poignant and incredibly detailed story of his musical career, ranging from his roots in singing and playing the guitar as a child to his rise and peak as an artist to be remembered.

Creators of this documentary and directors have taken great care in coming to this story with grace and introducing all aspects of his life to people. His friendship with Niall Horan has become an internet sensation and fans can expect to see some content involving the two of them in the documentary. This story is not just about one man going through the motions of putting out music, but a deep and personal anecdotal account of how the system forces artists to be machines both inside and outside the profession.
