Beef is an upcoming drama comedy series created by Lee Sung Jin starring Academy Award-nominated Steven Yeun and Emmy Nominee Ali Wong in the lead role. The series will be divided into a total of ten episodes with an average runtime of 30 minutes each.

The trailer of the series follows an unexpected rivalry between Danny and Amy (played by Steven Yeun and Ali Wong respectively) after a road rage incident. Moreover, what appears as a mere mistake translates into a rivalry of a lifetime, and wreaks havoc in the life of both characters.
The official clip also provides a glimpse at some clashing moments between the leading duo, as they escalate the rage into something extraordinary. Moreover, the whole trailer itself feels like an extended version of a gag that just went too far.
As visible from the trailer, both Amy and Danny fight over the final pointer and end up in a bitter mess. However, instead of backing off from the futile game, they engage deeply and more aggressively.

Even though it remains unclear, as to what might be the reasoning behind their utter madness. One can expect the root cause to be a grim and dark reality of their own lives, which eventually forces them to enter the spiral of revenge and rivalry.
All in all, the trailer of the series looks astonishing and exudes all vibes of uniqueness. Both Wong and Yeun look completely different in their respective roles and are riveting, to say the least.
Notably, Steven Yeun was last seen in Jordan Peele’s science fiction horror Nope. The film received mixed reviews from the critics with some praising it for its experimentative approach, while others criticizing it for its scattered screenplay. Furthermore, Steven Yeun was also nominated for Best Actor in a leading role, at the 93rd Academy Award for his role in Minari.
For the unversed, the series is produced under the banner of A24 and Universal Remote and will be distributed by Netflix. Moreover, Ali Wong, Steven Yeun, Lee Sung Jin, and Jake Schreier will also serve as the executive producer on the show.
